"Human Rights" Touted by Lee Myung Bak Group Assailed
Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group abstained from voting on a resolution denouncing the Israeli troops' intrusion into the Gaza Strip and their genocide adopted at the recent extraordinary meeting of the UN Human Rights Council, thus self-revealing under the eyes of the world that it is hand in glove with Israel engrossed in killing other nations.

Minju Joson Sunday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

This unethical act of challenging conscience of humankind desirous of justice and peace while zealously defending and supporting Israel's genocide laid bare the deceptive and reactionary nature of "the universally accepted human rights" touted by the Lee Myung Bak group and the absurdity and conspiratorial motive of the anti-DPRK "human rights" racket kicked up by it.

Citing facts to prove the hypocrisy of traitor Lee's anti-DPRK "human rights" ruckus, the commentary holds that he is not entitled to talk about "human rights."

It goes on:

It is the Lee group that is ruthlessly trampling down upon even the right to existence, to say nothing of elementary democratic freedom and rights.

As long as Lee, a human rights abuser, stays in "power" while talking about "human rights," the south Korean people can never enjoy human dignity and freedom nor can be guaranteed any elementary right to existence.

All Koreans will be unable to escape the disaster of a new war, a nuclear war if Lee is allowed to persist in the confrontation with fellow countrymen under the pretext of "human rights." It is the only way for the south Korean people to live as a human beings and for the whole nation to escape the nuclear disaster to wage a more dynamic struggle against Lee.

The Lee group should properly understand the need of the times and the desire of the nation and stop such fascist suppression as violating the rights of the people and the anti-DPRK "human rights" racket aimed at doing harm to fellow countrymen, urges the commentary.
