Lee Myung Bak Group's Killing of Evacuees Assailed
Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The All-People Committee for Measures against the Murder of Evacuees in Ryongsan grouping at least 80 civic and public organizations in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on Jan. 29 at which it vowed to carry on the candlelight action denouncing the killing of evacuees by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, according to south Korean KBS.

The organization declared that it would open large-scale candlelight meetings to remember the slain evacuees and demand the punishment of the killers across south Korea including Seoul at each weekend.

It added that these actions would be dynamically conducted in combination with the struggle to check the moves to railroad Lee's evil bills and force the present "government" to step down.

The organization accused the Lee group of working hard to evade the responsibility for the murder and shift the blame onto evacuees.

Meanwhile, the People's Council for Livelihood and Democracy made up of political parties and civic and public organizations in south Korea and the Solidarity Council of the Civic and Public Organizations held a press conference in Seoul on the same day at which they held Lee wholly accountable for the murder of evacuees and vowed to launch a solidarity struggle in protest against this traitor.
