DPRK Praised by Romanian Party Leader

Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is making a dynamic advance along the road of socialism, unaffected by any economic crisis thanks to the idea and theory of developing the socialist economy enunciated by President Kim Il Sung.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Romania who is chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, said this in a statement titled "Socialist Korea" made public on Jan. 19.

The DPRK is a socialist country founded and developed by Kim Il Sung, its eternal President, he noted, and went on:

The President expounded the idea and theory of building a powerful state.

The idea and theory on social development set forth by him are based on the man-centered philosophy.

The DPRK is growing stronger as it regards the legacy left by the President as guidelines.

The present world requires changes in the political and economic systems, he said, and continued:

The socialist system of the DPRK based on the planned economy is the most ideal social system for mankind.

The leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the socialist planned economy left as a legacy by the President provide a guarantee for strengthening and developing the DPRK.
