DPRK's Joint New Year Editorial Studied in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Reading and study sessions on the joint New Year editorial of the DPRK were held at the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea and by the Bangladeshi Group for the Study of the Songun Policy on Jan. 17.

Juan Campos Vega, chairman of the Mexican institute, at the reading session said that the joint editorial reviewed with high pride the signal achievements made by the Korean people in their efforts for building a great prosperous and powerful nation and achieving the independent reunification of Korea last year under the Songun leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and put forward important tasks to be carried out for glorifying this year as a year of a new great revolutionary surge sounding the general advance.

It is thanks to the experienced and seasoned leadership and outstanding political caliber of
Kim Jong Il that the dignity and national strength of the DPRK, which has made a great history holding aloft the banner of the Juche idea, the banner of Songun, were fully demonstrated last year, he stressed.

M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladeshi group, and other participants in the study session noted that the joint editorial advanced the obvious goal for building a great prosperous and powerful nation and the militant slogan inspiringly encouraging all the people to a drive for attaining the goal. And they expressed the expectation and belief that the Korean people would surely build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation in near future.

The moves of the U.S. and the present south Korean authorities hindering the Korean people's struggle to achieve the independent national reunification in the idea of "By our nation itself" is bound to go bust, they said, adding that the Bangladeshi people supporting Korea's reunification strongly urge the Lee Myung Bak group to unconditionally implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
