Its opening ceremony was held at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on Wednesday.

Present there were Kwak Pom Gi, vice-premier of the Cabinet, and officials concerned, government employees of ministries and national institutions and players.

Kim Pyong Phal, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, made an opening speech.
