Officials of ministries and national institutions went to the Mangyongdae and Chilgol farms in Mangyongdae District and the Jangchon Cooperative Farm in Sadong District, Pyongyang City, spent a worthwhile day by helping agricultural workers in making preparations for this year's farming.

The participants delivered a lot of small farm implements sincerely prepared by them and compost to the farms.

There was an exhibition of small farm implements at the Kim Il Sung Square on the same day. They were manufactured by ministries and national institutions by tapping latent reserves to implement the tasks for strengthening the material and technological assistance to the countryside laid down in the joint New Year editorial.

Meanwhile, officials in each province, city and county also participated in the Friday labor. It included transporting scrap iron to metallurgical works, improving railroad beds and carrying compost to farms.
