NA Criticized in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- KBS of south Korea on Dec. 31 last year slammed the puppet National Assembly, saying that 77 percent of bills for weathering out the economic crisis and settling the problems concerning the people's livelihood failed to be passed through the NA until the end of the year as an agreement on them was not reached between the ruling and opposition parties.

Especially, the Steering Committee and the Culture, Sports, Tourism, Broadcasting and Communications Committee of the NA are expected to be listed in the Guinness World Records book as they failed to pass through the NA even one bill, it ridiculed.

It is hard to expect any more social development without political reforms, KBS said, contending that to this end such chronic and immoral actions as detraction and outrages taking place in the NA should be eradicated before anything else.

It is needed to conduct a movement for punishing lawmakers ignoring the population, it added.
