Dismantlement of Concrete Wall Demanded
Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The chairperson of the Mahlambandlophy, Pretoria City, Branch of the African National Congress of South Africa issued a statement on Dec. 23 in demand of removal of the concrete wall.

The statement said:

Many years have passed since the end of the Cold War, but there still remains in the Korean Peninsula the concrete wall dividing the homogenous nation into two. This is an intolerable challenge and mockery of the progressive humankind standing against aggression and war and aspiring after peace and democracy.

The said huge physical wall dividing Korea into the north and the south is a product of the intrinsic nature and tactics of the imperialists seeking to dominate other countries by means of disunion and the treacherous crime of the despicable separatist forces kowtowing to the imperialists.

It is entirely attributable to the U.S. troops' occupation of south Korea that the division of Korea has lasted for more than six decades and the physical wall has existed for nearly three decades without any restriction.

The statement called upon the peace organizations and progressive humankind of the world to conduct a worldwide struggle for getting the U.S. aggressor forces withdrawn from south Korea and the concrete wall, a symbol of the national division, pulled down.
