Phyongsong Martyrs Cemetery Completed
Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The Phyongsong Martyrs Cemetery was completed in Phyongsong City, South Phyongan Province.

Remains of officials and working people who performed distinguished feats by faithfully working for the Party and the revolution, the country and the people to the last moments of their lives were buried and gravestones having stone pictures on them were set up in the cemetery.

Among them are Pak Il Pha, anti-Japanese patriotic martyr, Ri Po Bu, former farmer of Kaechon County, South Phyongan Province, Pak Yong Hun, former chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial Rural Economy Management Committee, Labor Hero Dr. Song In Gil, former chief engineer of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, and Twice Labor Hero O Myong Su, former head of a high speed tunneling work team of the Electric Car Pit of the Tokchon Coal Mine.

A ceremony for the completion of the cemetery took place on Dec. 30.

Present there were Ri Thae Nam, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, working people, builders and bereaved families.

Ri Thae Nam made a speech at the ceremony.
