The performance began with the chorus "Fortune of Korea". Put on the stage were colorful numbers including violin solo of the immortal famous song "Nostalgia", male solo and chorus "General of Korea" and male solo "General, Here Is the Forefront."

The performers sang high praises of the immortal feats Kim Jong Il, a creditable successor to President Kim Il Sung's cause of army building, has performed by developing the People's Army into an ever-victorious revolutionary armed forces and bringing about world-startling miracles and changes in the struggle to defend socialism and build a great prosperous powerful nation with the might of Songun.

In female solo "I Want to Embrace You Korea Again", female solo and chorus "Tano Festival in Tochon-ri" and other numbers the performers truthfully represented the noble revolutionary career and personality of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk as a peerlessly great woman.

On the same day similar performances took place at the theaters in Pyongyang and local areas on the occasions of the 17th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the KPA and the 91st birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk.
