Homage to Kim Jong Suk Paid
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Wednesday, the 91st anniversary of her birth.

Seen before the bust was a wreath from General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were senior party, army and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, leading officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the KPA and working people from all walks of life and school youth and children in the city of Pyongyang.

Placed before the bust were wreaths, together with bouquets, in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, the DPRK Cabinet, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, KPA units and educational, public health and press organs, the joint national organization of the Korean Children's Union and party and power organs, factories and farms in the city.

Also floral baskets were laid before her statues in Kim Jong Suk County and Hoeryong City and at Kim Jong Suk Naval Academy and Kim Jong Suk General Military Academy.

On the same day, the Military Attaches Corps here visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong to lay a wreath before her bust there.
