Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Documentary film "Under the Guidance of the Great Brilliant Commander" (24) was screened at the People's Palace of Culture on Dec. 20 on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of office as supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
The film deals with the facts that Kim Jong Il had the servicepersons, who dedicated their noble lives to the sacred struggle for the defence of the country and the building of a great prosperous powerful socialist nation, remembered for all ages and glorified their life and merits.
It shows in historic scenes his boundless love for the revolutionary soldiers in uniforms who devoted their lives to faithfully carry out the cause of the leader and the Party with arms.
It also tells about the noble ideological and spiritual traits of the KPA servicepersons who have dedicated their all to the strengthening and development of the KPA and the prosperity of the country.
Appreciating the film were senior party and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and working people in the city of Pyongyang.
