GNP Accused of Pushing Inter-Korean Relations to Total Severance
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, Pak Hui Thae, representative of the Grand National Party of south Korea, went so ridiculous as to praise the ultra-right conservative organizations that scattered leaflets and incited confrontation with the north as the organizations which "endeavored" for someone's "human rights" and "democracy" and appreciate their "patriotic devotion."

Leading newspapers Tuesday in signed commentaries dismiss what Pak uttered as reckless remarks that touch off bitter resentment among the people.

Rodong Sinmun says:

Pak went the lengths of embellishing what was done by the above-said organizations as "patriotic devotion" though the inter-Korean relations are inching close to collapse due to the provocative scattering of leaflets by confrontational maniacs who hurt fellow countrymen like mad dogs. This suffices to reveal his true colors as a traitor hell-bent on confrontation.

The commentary cites facts to prove that this guy is nothing but a disgusting anti-DPRK maniac and traitor to the nation as he is to blame for bedeviling the inter-Korean relations.

It is deplorable, indeed, that such man who knows nothing but painting treachery as patriotism is allowed to remain in the political camp in south Korea, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The north-south relations are festering as the days go by, far from getting rid of the present crisis, as traitor Lee Myung Bak has around him many confrontational maniacs such as Pak Hui Thae.

Minju Joson warns that the army and people of the DPRK will surely settle accounts with the GNP gentries who have deteriorated the inter-Korean relations by using human scum as a shock brigade for fanning up the confrontation with fellow countrymen.
