GNP's Move to Railroad Budget Bill through NA Assailed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- The People's Council for Welfare and Democracy of south Korea called a press conference outside the building of the "Grand National Party" on Dec. 12 demanding an immediate stop to the move to railroad an unpopular budget bill through the "National Assembly".

Speakers at the press conference charged that the budget bill which the GNP is working so hard to ram through the NA that day utterly disregarded the people's living.

They demanded the GNP withdraw it at once and take measures for stabilizing the people's life.

If the GNP persistently railroads the budget bill through the NA, it will face a stern judgment of the people, they warned.

On the same day the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, the Solidarity for Progress of south Korea and other organizations held a meeting in Youido of Seoul denouncing the move of the traitorous political party.

The Democratic Labor Party of south Korea also called a press conference inside the "National Assembly" at which it blasted the GNP's wrong attitude and vowed to struggle against it to the last.
