Human Rights Declaration Issued in S. Korea
Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- The Joint Conference of Human Rights Organizations and 13 other organizations in south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on Dec. 10, making public a "2008 Human Rights Declaration".

The declaration noted that human rights have been violently abused due to the fascist dictatorship and neo-liberalist policy of the ruling forces in south Korea.

The candlelight actions launched in protest against American beef import were a blow at the political power going against the will of the people, it said, and went on:

Nevertheless, the Lee Myung Bak "government" is pursuing the terror-ridden politics against the people, resorting to all repressive means such as watch, arrest and detention.

The people from all walks of life will not allow the present regime's tyranny but struggle to build a new society where human rights and peace are guaranteed, without yielding to any outrage.
