Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Col. General Liang Guanglie, minister of National Defense of China, met and had a talk with the delegation of officials for foreign affairs of the Korean People's Army on a visit to China at the August 1 Building in Beijing on December 12.
Liang Guanglie said that he, as a veteran of the Chinese People's Volunteers, has warm feelings toward the Korean people. The China-DPRK friendly relations are the relationship sealed in blood between the armies and peoples of the two countries who fought shoulder to shoulder in the periods of the anti-Japanese war, the Chinese civil war for liberation and the Korean war, he added.
He noted that the Sino-Korean friendly relations have achieved great success in all domains over nearly six decades after the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
He underlined the need to boost exchange and cooperation between the armies true to the intention of the top leaders of the two countries who pay deep attention to the development of the bilateral friendly relations.
