Lee Myung Bak Group's Shameless Remarks Refuted

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The group of traitors including their minions of the Ministry of Unification and the Grand National Party of south Korea are busy with the smear campaign against the DPRK, asserting that "it drove the south-north relations to collapse." Meanwhile, they are justifying their "policy toward the north" and the ultra-right conservative organizations' anti-DPRK leaflet-scattering and going so shameless as to pretend to be interested in the inter-Korean relations, talking about "dialogue between authorities."

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Such acts are nothing but premeditated moves to cover up the crime they have committed by driving the inter-Korean relations to a stalemate and evade their responsibility and attain their sinister purpose under the signboard of "dialogue."

It was none other than the Lee Myung Bak group which negated the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and stood in the way of implementing them and thus pushed the favorably developing inter-Korean relations to the phase of confrontation.

It is the height of folly for them to put their indelible crimes on the shelf and make rhetoric in a bid to lay the blame for the bedeviled inter-Korean relations at the door of the north which has made every sincere effort to prevent the inter-Korean relations from festering.

With neither artifice nor sleight of hand can the Lee group cover up their true colors as treacherous and anti-reunification elements who are dead-set against the improved inter-Korean relations and national reunification.

Their crimes are indelible down through generations and, accordingly, they will have to pay a thousand-fold price for them.
