Lee Myung Bak Group's Solicitation Diplomacy Ridiculed
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak was busy with solicitation diplomacy at the recent Asia-Europe summit. He implored delegates to "cooperate in the efforts to pressurize the north to dismantle nukes as early as possible so that it may join the international community." Earlier, the minister of "Planning and Finance" of south Korea at an international meeting solicited "a positive role and support for reform and opening in the north."

Rodong Sinmun Thursday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Such reckless remarks made by the group of traitors asking for "cooperation and support" from outside forces in the international arena are, in essence, aimed at building an international cooperation system targeted against the DPRK.

These moves are a revelation of the Lee group's sinister attempt to lay a political and military siege to the DPRK on an international scale with the help of outside forces and stifle it at any cost.

The group's hectic solicitation diplomacy for international cooperation aimed at negating the dignity of the DPRK and its system and stirring up the atmosphere of confrontation with it would only further bedevil the north-south relations, far from helping improve them, and lead to a war in the end.

Absolutely intolerable are the moves of the Lee group to bring the inter-Korean relations to collapse, escalate confrontation and invite a war disaster in league with outside forces as all the Koreans are now working hard to achieve independent reunification, peace and prosperity by their concerted efforts, rejecting outside forces, in the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

The Lee group will only face a severe judgment by history and the nation if it keeps to the road of confrontation in pursuance of its foolish ambition, backed by outside forces.

The south Korean conservative ruling forces would be well advised to behave themselves, lending an ear to the repeated warnings of the DPRK.
