Provocative Hoguk Exercises Slammed
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The Hoguk exercises started by the south Korean puppet military on Oct. 30 are dangerous war maneuvers in the light of their provocative nature, program and scale.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes this in a signed commentary.

What merits attention is that during the exercises which will last till November 8 the puppet warmongers are going to stage joint landing exercises of the marine corps, the largest in its history, together with the U.S. imperialist aggression forces, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The madcap Hoguk exercises kicked off by the puppet forces contrary to the will and aspiration of the whole Korean nation are very dangerous military provocative moves to wreck peace of the Korean Peninsula, escalate the inter-Korean confrontation and tension and ignite a war against the north in league with outside forces.

The Lee Myung Bak group's frenzy for north-south confrontation has gone into extremes. It is escalating its moves to provoke a war against the DPRK, refusing to drop its traitorous posture of confrontation despite the repeated warnings of the DPRK.

The marine corps' landing exercises were staged every year during each south Korea-U.S. joint military exercises. But it is the first time in history that division-level exercises take place this time.

Landing exercises are typical of exercises for offensive operation. Hoguk exercises are a very dangerous saber-rattling aiming at a surprise preemptive attack on the DPRK, to all intents and purposes.

The reality goes to prove that the Lee group is more desperately pursuing military confrontation with the DPRK than ever before and going reckless to realize the ambition for invading it at any cost in league with outside forces.

He who seeks danger perishes therein.

The Lee group would be well advised to behave itself, mindful that its moves to ignite a war against the north is as foolish an act as jumping into fire with faggot on one's back.
