Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- A friendly meeting and Korean photo, fine art work and handicraft exhibitions were held in Bucharest and Tirgoviste city, Dimbovita County in the period from Oct. 15 to 27 to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Romania.

Displayed in the venues of the exhibitions were photos, fine art works and handicrafts showing the true picture of Songun Korea.

Present at the functions were personages of the Romanian government, political parties and organizations and popular masses and the DPRK ambassador to Romania and his embassy officials.

Speeches were made there.

The general secretary of the Ministry of Culture said at the friendly meeting that the DPRK is a country with potentiality for better development, and expressed the will to make positive efforts for the development of the relations between the two countries in various fields.
