New Books See Light
Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Many books were published by the Science and Encyclopedia Press of the DPRK to help working people widen scientific and technological knowledge and common sense.

Among them are socio-scientific books including book "History of Development of Korean Calligraphy" which comprehensively deals with the history of the development of Juche-based calligraphy and the course of the development of excellent national calligraphy created by the Korean people in the ancient, medieval and modern times.

Scientific and technological books also saw the light.

Book "Companion of Software Developers" explaining essentials of computer science and system development and operation and network (internet) technology, etc. books "Intellectual Information Processing" and "Technology for the Application of Computer Multi-media" (essentials) and others introducing the concept of intellectual information processing technology and the theoretical and practical issues arising in developing the multi-media application program are helpful to widening the understanding of information science and technology.

Among the new books are also books that help readers enrich common sense and knowledge about health and medical treatment such as Part 3 Fishes of "Korean Fauna", "Korean Mineral" Vol. 7, "Dictionary of First Aid Clinical Treatment" and "Essentials of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Differentiation of Koryo Medicine."
