General Secretary Kim Jong Il sent new books and CDs of nearly 100 kinds to the house in several installments in recent days alone.

Among them are books that help develop the nation's science and technology and officials and other working people, youth and students raise the level of their knowledge.

Books including "Science of Potato Breeding", "New Technology of Cultivating High-Yielding Maize," "Research and Technology of Modern Neuroscience", "Regeneration Biology and Recycling Medicine" and "Numerator Endocrinology" provide broad knowledge about agriculture, medicine and information science and technology.

The new books added to the study house include book "First Twelve Months" helpful to bringing up babies well and the book "Land of Morning Calm" introducing the Korean history, geography and customs early in the 20th century. It also received photo albums introducing world famous flowers, shellfishes and butterflies and CDs dealing with physics and Nano technology, etc.
