Reception Arranged by DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saturday arranged a reception on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Mongolia.

Present there on invitation were Mongolian Ambassador to the DPRK Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar and staff members of his embassy.

On hand were Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Yong Il and officials concerned.

Pak Ui Chun said at the reception that the DPRK and Mongolia have steadily boosted the bilateral relations in various fields including politics, economy and culture and closely supported and cooperated with each other in the international arena, too.

He expressed belief that the friendly Mongolian government and people would register greater success in their work to achieve the socio-political stability and unity of the country, develop economy and national culture and raise its international prestige.

Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar in his speech expressed Mongolia's hope that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would grow stronger in the interests of the two peoples on the principle of mutual understanding and trust in the future, too.

He wished the Korean people rallied close around General Secretary Kim Jong Il bigger success in their drive for reunification and prosperity of the country.
