Significant Days of DPRK Marked
Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- A meeting, a lecture, a seminar, a news briefing, photo exhibitions and film shows were held in Mexico, Cambodia and Iran on Oct. 3 and 4 on the occasions of the 63rd anniversary of the foundation of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 82nd anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

Put on display in the venues of the functions were works of the peerlessly great men, photos showing the feats performed by them in leading the party construction and books and photos introducing successes the Korean people have made in socialist construction under the leadership of the WPK.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, in a speech made at a meeting said that the WPK has covered a shining road as an organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people for the past more than six decades under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, in a lecture referred in detail to the validity and vitality of the Juche idea and Songun idea, the true picture of Songun Korea where all its people are singly-mindedly united and the undying feats performed by Kim Jong Il in strengthening the WPK.

Lu Lay Sreng, first vice-chairman of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia, in his speech said that the great feats performed by Kim Il Sung on behalf of the homeland and the nation by liberating the country from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and founding the invincible WPK and the DPRK would shine long.

The secretary general of the International Taekwon-Do Association in Iran in a news briefing praised the WPK as an experienced and seasoned party, an ever-victorious and invincible party founded by President Kim Il Sung and led by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Participants of the film shows appreciated a Korean film showing the invincible might of the WPK.
