Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA Unit
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected KPA Unit 895 honored with the title of O Jung Hup-led 7th regiment.
After watching the training of the soldiers, he expressed his satisfaction over the fact that the servicepersons of the unit have grown to be a-match-for-a hundred fighters by undergoing an intensive training without having the time to get their uniforms wet with sweat dry, determined to greet the 60th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK with shining successes in the combat and political training. He set forth the tasks to be fulfilled by the unit to boost its combat capability.
It is the primary revolutionary task for the servicepersons under arms to train well, he said, stressing the need to focus all efforts on intensifying the training.
He made the rounds of the servicepersons' hall, a library and other entertainment and educational facilities to acquaint himself in detail with how the political work is conducted among its servicepersons.
He praised the unit for having successfully built the centers for cultural education and conducted the political and ideological work in a unique manner in diverse forms and ways to train the servicepersons into heroes of the new century.
Watching the information about the noble comradeship displayed by the officers and soldiers of the unit, he said that the ranks united close on the basis of the comradeship are sure to triumph.
Walking round the compound of the barracks clad in thick verdure, he learned about how the unit has created a thick woodland and greenery.
He highly appreciated the feats performed by the servicepersons of the unit, greatly pleased to learn that they have successfully turned the compound of the barracks and its surroundings into a thick woodland and greenery in firm unity.
Noting that the people in the society have turned out as one in the afforestation with ardent enthusiasm, following the example set by the army, he stressed the need for the army and people to pool their efforts to make the mountains of the country thicker with green foliage and build a beautiful land of bliss good to live in.
Then he took deep care of the service and living of its servicepersons, going round an education room, bedroom, mess hall, wash-cum-bath house, non-staple food store and other places.
He appreciated the assiduous and tenacious way the unit has managed its economic life, pleased to know that the unit has built supply service facilities convenient to its servicepersons.
He gave the servicepersons of the unit a pair of binoculars, a machinegun and an automatic rifle as gifts before having a photo session with them.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Hyon Chol Hae and Kim Myong Guk.
U.S. Forces Side's Provocations Protested
Panmunjom, July 10 (KCNA) -- Talks between a senior colonel of the DPRK military and a colonel of the U.S. military were held at Panmunjom on Thursday at the proposal made by the DPRK side on its own initiative.
At the talks Senior Colonel Kwak Yong Hun of the Panmunjom Mission of the Korean People's Army lodged a strong protest with the U.S. forces side against such provocative acts as obstructing the performance of duties by the guard personnel of the DPRK side in the Panmunjom conference room area and aggravating the situation in the area perpetrated everyday and held it accountable for this.
The U.S. forces side again committed such despicable and base acts everyday despite the fact that the DPRK side drew attention to the dozens of provocations committed by the guard personnel of the U.S. forces side in a telephone message dated June 11, he noted, terming this a wanton violation of the armistice agreement calling for security and order in the conference room area and the agreement between both sides.
The DPRK side warned at the talks that even the slightest provocation against the other party in the Panmunjom conference room area, the scene of acute military confrontation, where servicemen of both sides which are technically at war are leveling their guns at each other may lead to an armed conflict any moment.
The U.S. forces side, however, is persistently shutting its eyes to this reality and fostering and conniving at the provocations, it noted, adding that this is aimed at sparking off again such shocking cases in this area as the "Panmunjom incident" in the 1970s and "shooting incident " in the 1980s in a bid to drive the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch of tension.
He went on to say: While paying lip-service to the improved DPRK-U.S. relations, the U.S. forces side is nowadays staging war exercises aimed at attacking the DPRK in the land, sea and air almost every day and arming the south Korean puppet forces with the latest war means and instigating them to the confrontation with the north. Timed to coincide with these moves, it is committing ceaseless provocations. The Korean People's Army is following the U.S. forces side's military movements with heightened vigilance.
The U.S. forces side, while acknowledging the gravity of the cases raised by the DPRK side, informed it that it would conduct Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises from August 18 to 22, contrary to the nature of the talks.
The DPRK side strongly urged the U.S. forces side to cancel the exercises at once, denouncing such action as a criminal act as it will escalate the tension on the Korean Peninsula.
He urged the U.S. forces side to face up to the present reality and behave with discretion, declaring that the KPA would never pardon anyone infringing upon the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK even a bit.
KCNA Blasts U.S. Conservative Hard-liners' Deliberate Act to Scuttle Denuclearization Process
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The U.S. conservative hard-liners have become all the more undisguised in their moves to hinder the implementation of the October 3 agreement adopted by the six-party talks now that it has entered the new phase of implementation thanks to the DPRK's sincere efforts.
They submitted to Congress a bill on postponing the measure for taking the DPRK off the list of "state sponsors of terrorism" while underscoring the need for "correct verification of the nuclear declaration" and "dismantlement of nuclear weapons". This is a typical example of those moves.
The DPRK resolutely dismisses this as a despicable act to scuttle the denuclearization process on the Korean Peninsula in the end.
What should not be overlooked is that the U.S. conservative hard-liners have seriously misinterpreted the DPRK's willingness and efforts for denuclearization in order to serve their interests.
The DPRK's disablement of its nuclear facilities has been done more than 80 % as of now and it fulfilled the agreed point calling for submitting an accurate and complete nuclear declaration.
The DPRK blew up the cooling tower at the pilot atomic power plant as a measure taken out of good faith, demonstrating once again its will for denuclearization at home and abroad.
This notwithstanding, the conservative hard-liners painted the DPRK as "a country good at deceptive artifice," claiming that "north Korea is capable of possessing highly-enriched uranium technology without a cooling tower". This proves to what extent their hostile policy toward the DPRK has reached.
The principle of "action for action" is the key to realizing the denuclearization.
The U.S. is obliged to join the DPRK in its efforts for the process by honoring its commitments with good faith.
The DPRK will make a relevant decision depending on the U.S. future actions.
The U.S. conservative hard-liners had better clearly understand that they will be held fully accountable for all the ensuing consequences should they persistently bar the progress of the talks.

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, sent a message of greetings to Mongolian President Nambariin Enkhbayar on Wednesday on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the victory of the Mongolian People's Revolution.

Homage to Kim Hyong Jik Paid
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the statue of Kim Hyong Jik, an indomitable revolutionary fighter and an outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea, in Ponghwa-ri, Kangdong County, Pyongyang, and his grave in Mangyongdae on Thursday on the occasion of the 114th anniversary of his birth.
Seen there were wreaths from Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were Choe Thae Bok, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Yong Rim, Vice-Premiers of the Cabinet Kwak Pom Gi and Thae Jong Su, Chairman of the C.C., the Korean Social Democratic Party Kim Yong Dae, officials of party, power and armed forces organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, servicepersons of the KPA and working people and school youth and children in the city of Pyongyang.
Placed before the statue and grave were wreaths in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, the DPRK Cabinet, ministries, national institutions, educational, public health and press organs, revolutionary schools, and party and power bodies, industrial establishments, farms and schools in the city.
The participants paid a silent tribute to Kim Hyong Jik, looking back on the noble revolutionary career and exploits performed by him who paved a new path for the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea, the way for national independence, after embarking on the road of revolution in his early years and devoted his all to the sacred cause for the independence of the country and freedom and liberation of the people.
On the same day wreaths and bunches of flowers were laid before his statues at Kim Hyong Jik Military Medical University and in Sakju County, North Phyongan Province and Junggang County, Jagang Province.
National Literary Festival Makes Brisk Headway
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- A national literary festival celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has made brisk headway since its kick-off in July last year.
The festival which will last till September 9 is participated in by professional and incumbent members of the Central Committee of the Korean Writers Union. Writers across the country have so far contributed at least 1,000 works to the festival.
They deal at length with the immortal feats performed by President Kim Il Sung in the nation-building and the personality of General Secretary Kim Jong Il as a great man born of Heaven, the justice of the WPK's Songun policy, the advantages of the socialist system and the mental power being displayed by all the servicepersons and people in building a great prosperous powerful nation.
Long poem "Sunrise", selected poems "Our Father and Our Happy Home", lyric poem "Our General Hailing from Mt. Paektu" and words of song "Sky Bright with Glow", and words of songs "We Mark Them on the Map" and "June 6 Is Our Holiday" suited to the psychological peculiarities of schoolchildren were given publicity in several publications.
Their works included classical literary works based on the principle of historicism and literary comments.
Chongsu Revolutionary Site Visited by Endless Stream of People
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The Chongsu Revolutionary Site associated with the revolutionary exploits of indomitable revolutionary fighter Kim Hyong Jik is visited by an endless stream of working people from all walks of life and school youth and children.
This is a significant place where Kim Hyong Jik held a series of the Chongsu-dong meetings including that held in November, Juche 7 (1918) to guide the work to disseminate advanced ideas and rally masses and command armed activities.
Attracting visitors there are the Chongsu Revolutionary Museum, venues of Chongsudong meetings, the place where an anti-Japanese lecture was given, the place where Kim Hyong Jik made a speech before young people, Ilsin School and Kyolsung Hill, a spa, a pond and a peasant's house in the chestnut valley.
The number of the visitors there reached more than 3,700,000 in the past three decades.
Ongjin Botanical Garden
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The Ongjin Botanical Garden is located in Ongjin Peninsula, South Hwanghae Province.
Growing in the garden are rare gift plants including Criptomeria japonica, Chamaecyparis obtusa and Alnus japonica presented to President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il by world progressives and overseas compatriots.
Dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboidas) has taken root here and has grown in profusion. The President personally cultivated the tree in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War and paid deep attention to adapting it to the climate of Korea after the war. The dawn redwood trees propagated across the country over the last several decades run into more than 8,236,600.
Gift plants including Criptomeria japonica and Phyllostachys pubescens and plants of economic value have been bred in the garden to be sent to all parts of the country.
The number of rare gift plants propagated by the Ongjin Botanical Garden over the last 45 years amounts to 10,076,800 or more.
Adherence to Three Principles of National Reunification Called for
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The three principles of national reunification serve as the main cornerstone and eternal and great platform for independent reunification that the Korean nation should always and firmly rely on in the efforts to reunify the country, stresses Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article.
The three principles are a great charter for independent reunification carrying the extraordinary ideological and theoretical wisdom and the noble patriotic will of President Kim Il Sung, the peerlessly great man, it says, and goes on:
The Korean nation's cause of reunification is the cause of national independence to put an end to the foreign forces' domination, interference and military occupation of south Korea. And it is the cause of achieving the great unity of the nation divided into the north and the south.
The cherished desire of the fellow countrymen is to retake the national sovereignty on a nationwide scale and achieve the durable peace of the country and the national reunification.
The three principles of national reunification have fully demonstrated their invincible might and vitality in the struggle of the Korean people to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification.
The historical experience eloquently proves that the rosy future of national reunification and prosperity can be brought only when the Koreans invariably uphold the banner of the three principles provided by the President.
The Koreans should realize the cause of national reunification, regarding the three principles as the basic cornerstone invariably no matter how the situation and circumstances may change.
The Lee Myung Bak group in south Korea is now making desperate efforts to overturn all the achievements gained in the June 15 era of reunification while seeking sycophancy toward the U.S., confrontation with the fellow countrymen and war against the DPRK.
The way for meeting challenges of anti-reunification forces at home and abroad and activating the national reunification movement under the present grave situation is to thoroughly adhere to and implement the three principles.
S. Korean Puppet Army to Stage War Exercises in Areas along MDL
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The 25th division of the south Korean puppet army announced that it would stage large-scale ground combined military exercises in areas of Phaju City, Yangju City and Ryonchon County, Kyonggi Province from July 9 to 11, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.
Not only the puppet army but also police, those related to administrative and business affairs and even civilians are said to be involved in the exercises aimed at building an "integrated defence operational system to cope with a limited warfare to be provoked by somebody and enemies' intrusion."
An official concerned with the puppet army blustered that during the exercises there would be movement of huge troops, equipment and vehicles and the military and the police would run joint checkpoints at main roads.
The projected DPRK-targeted war maneuvers in areas along the Military Demarcation Line bring into bolder relief the true nature of the Lee Myung Bak group as war fanatics keen on stoking confrontation with the fellow countrymen.
Repeal of "National Security Law" Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification (Pomminryon) called a press conference in Seoul on July 4, urging the repeal of the "National Security Law", the retraction of labeling Pomminryon as "enemy-benefiting organization" and the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. It charged that the Seoul High Court has imposed punishment on three persons including the former chairman of the Kwangju and South Jolla Provincial Alliance of Pomminryon.
A press release read out there said that the punishment on the members of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon reveals the vicious nature of the NSL.
The last four months since the emergence of the Lee Myung Bak regime were the period of nightmare during which it brought only misfortunes to the Koreans vigorously advancing toward reunification under the banner of "By our nation itself," it said.
The release recalled that Lee Myung Bak put forward such foolish policy as "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars," swimming against the trend of the times and hindered the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration by dint of the NSL.
It also noted that the Lee Myung Bak regime has defined the South Headquarters of Pomminryon, the south Korean Federation of University Student Councils and the south Korean Council of Youth Organizations as "enemy-benefiting organizations" and insulted the Solidarity for Progress in south Korea as an "impure organization" to escalate the suppression of them.
The South Headquarters of Pomminryon will surely take off the bridle called "enemy-benefiting organization" in the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and do its utmost to build a reunified country for national prosperity, it said.
The release stressed the need to get the NSL, an evil law serving to incite confrontation between fellow countrymen and the anti-reunification moves and violating human rights, abrogated without fail in the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Protest against Suppression of Candlelight Action in S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The People's Measure Council against the Total Opening of south Korean Markets to American Beef in south Korea held a meeting of its steering committee to decide on the orientation of candlelight action on July 7.
The organization stressed the need to intensify the candlelight action against the American beef import and continue this struggle until the renegotiations have been held.
It declared that it would steadily wage the candlelight action by different sectors and organizations and launch a large-scale candlelight struggle again on July 12 and 17.
It called for vigorously conducting the campaign for boycotting the American beef with the involvement of people from all walks of life.
Meanwhile, the Christian Measure Council against the American Beef Import and members of civic and public organizations and the university students' team for activities in the countryside called press conferences on July 3 and 7 in Seoul to denounce the puppet authorities' suppression of the candlelight actions and the Lee Myung Bak group's repression of the Solidarity for Progress of south Korea.
On July 7 students of Seoul National University baffled a "lecture" by Kim Ki Hyon, a lawmaker from the "Grand National Party" who was going to explain "justice" of the American beef import.
Candlelight Action Unabated in S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The 62nd candlelight rally was held in front of the building of MBC in Seoul on July 8 with at least 1,500 members of the Press Trade Union of south Korea, newscasters and citizens attending.
The participants of the rally bitterly denounced traitor Lee Myung Bak for his despicable suppression of media, declaring they gathered there to smash the "Grand National Party" (GNP) which looks like a foreign party and defend MBC and KBS.
Speeches were made at the rally.
Choe Sang Jae, chairman of the union, branded the recent investigation made by the prosecution into the office of MBC which reported about the danger of American beef as the Lee group's ploy to put the public broadcasting services under its control, expressing the will to stand up against the Lee "government" hell-bent on depriving the media of its freedom.
Ri Sok Haeng, chairman of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, said that it is necessary to fire Choe Si Jung, chairman of the Broadcasting and Communication Committee, Lee's confidant, before anyone else in order to defend the public broadcasting services. He requested MBC to give wide coverage to the crimes committed by Lee.
The participants of the rally condemned the unpopular policies of traitor Lee such as the import of American beef, the "great canal project", privatization of public fields and others.
At the end of the rally, its participants marched toward the building of the GNP.
Lee Myung Bak's Hypocritical Cabinet Reshuffle Blasted
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions issued a statement on July 7 accusing traitor Lee Myung Bak of carrying out a hypocritical Cabinet reshuffle.
On the same day Lee announced his proposal for Cabinet reshuffle which was limited to dismissing some ministers and vice-ministers from their offices, quite contrary to the will of the people.
The statement said this was nothing but another charade intended to revamp the "Cabinet of the richest" and "the incapable Cabinet" which had been judged by the people for importing American beef and pursuing the policy in favor of big businesses and the policy of commercializing education, etc.
The statement denounced the Lee Myung Bak group for persisting in their acts of cheating and betraying the people though they talked about "deep repentance" after all Cabinet members tendered their resignations.
The recent Cabinet reshuffle made by Lee only made the people feel his perfidy to them and anger at him and proved that he has no intention to meet their demands, the statement noted, adding that the behavior of Lee was another declaration of war against people as it meant his intention not to change the unjust policy of the "government", the target of the people's candlelight struggle.
Rash Action of Japanese Authorities Assailed by KCTU
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions issued a statement on July 8 rapping at the rash action taken by the Japanese authorities not to allow the entry of a delegation of the KCTU for struggling against neo-liberalist "globalization".
Referring to the fact that the KCTU dispatched the delegation to Japan for the international solidarity activities against the neo-liberalist "globalization" on July 4, the statement went on:
The Japanese authorities disallowed the entry of the members of the delegation at the airport by confiscating their passports and so on, under the pretext of "individual examination". They perpetrated such outrage as walking off the vice-chairman of the Health and Medical Workers' Union of south Korea for the mere reason that he protested against their outrage.
The above-said unjust action taken by the Japanese authorities was obviously politically motivated suppression, the statement held, adding that this incident compels the KCTU to cast serious skepticism about human rights and democracy in Japan.
The KCTU will boost solidarity and cooperation with the trade unions and civic and public organizations in Japan and the international labor movement organizations in order to intensify the struggle against the neo-liberalist "globalization", declared the statement.
Anniversary of Demise of Kim Il Sung Commemorated in Various Countries
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Lectures were given in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Romania and meetings to remember President Kim Il Sung in Russia, Egypt and Thailand on July 3 and 5 on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of his demise.
The secretary of the Dar es Salaam Committee of the Revolutionary Party of Tanzania in his speech made at the lecture said that the President embarked upon the road of revolution in his teens and founded the Juche idea, the Songun idea, paving the way for the resurrection of the Korean nation.
He said that the President rendered support, material and moral, to the world oppressed people including those of the African countries in their struggle for independence and the building of a new society, making an immortal contribution to the human cause of independence.
The chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association in his lecture noted that Kim Il Sung, eternal President of the Korean people, was the founding father of the DPRK, a socialist power which has stood all sorts of tests of history, the first country of the people in the Korean nation's history spanning 5,000 years.
The vice-chairman of the National Democratic Party of Egypt in his speech made at the meeting said that the Egyptian people always remember and feel thankful to the President as he paid deep attention to the development of the friendly relations between the two countries and extended unreserved support to the Egyptian people in their just cause.
The Korean people have achieved great successes in socialist construction and the cause of national reunification thanks to the Songun politics enforced by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, successor to the cause of the President, he stressed.
Kim Il Sung Praised in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Bulletins were released in Nigeria and Bangladesh on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in its bulletin on July 4 pointed in detail to the fact that Kim Il Sung, a prominent leader produced by the 20th century, founded the Juche idea, the Songun idea, providing an eternal guiding idea and principle of the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence and building a socialist power centered on the popular masses on the land of Korea.
The bulletin stressed that the President would be immortal along with socialist Korea which will always prosper.
The Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee edited articles under the titles "Eternal President Kim Il Sung" and "President Who Ushered in the New Era of National Liberation Struggle in Colonies" and others in its bulletin on July 2.

Luego de cerciorarse detalladamente del trabajo y la vida de Om, dijo que es un acto muy adorable el que ella dedica todas sus fuerzas espirituales y fisicas a la produccion agricola desde que se asento en el campo voluntariamente y evaluo altamente la conducta patriotica de ella y sus padres quienes apoyaron activamente la decision de su hija.
Cuando los jovenes de otros paises andan obsesionados por conseguir la ciudadania capitalina, la juventud coreana se traslada voluntariamente al campo, las minas carboniferas y los lugares de explotacion abandonando sin vacilacion la entranable capital, comparo y continuo que esto es precisamente el verdadero aspecto de nuestros jovenes infinitamente fieles al partido y la revolucion.
Acto seguido, el Dirigente estuvo en la Granja Porcina de Phyongbuk nuevamente construida en la provincia de Phyong-an del Norte.
Tras escuchar explicaciones ante el plano de la granja, recorrio el exterior y el interior de ella enterandose detalladamente del estado de construccion y administracion.
Muy satisfecho de que esa provincia construyo excelentemente por cuenta propia esta moderna base ganadera de gran capacidad, evaluo altamente los meritos de los constructores y presento las tareas que se presentan ante la granja.
A continuacion, el Dirigente se dirigio al Centro de Reproduccion de Conejos Juventud de Thaechon.
Al recorrer los conejales reconstruidos y otros lugares del centro, averiguo detalladamente el estado de produccion.
Dijo que este centro es la granja significativa que fue construida en los dias de la enconada guerra coreana por la iniciativa del Presidente Kim Il Sung para mejorar la vida alimentaria de los habitantes de la provincia y apunto que es preciso elevar incesantemente la produccion de las crias de conejo para glorificar mas las hazanas directivas del Presidente guardando siempre en lo profundo del corazon la infinita benevolencia de el.
Lo mas importante en la cria de conejos es establecer el sistema de cria y suministro de las razas superiores, tomar las medidas para asegurar el pienso y el sistema de prevencion veterinaria y solucionar satisfactoriamente los problemas cientifico-tecnicos, apunto e indico las tareas y los remedios para el particular.
El mismo dia, el Dirigente hizo conocimiento de la creacion de areas boscosas que se desarrolla animadamente en la provincia de Phyong-an del Norte.
Subrayo que en todas partes de esta provincia como las fabricas y aldeas rurales se pueden ver los proyectos de areas boscosas planeadas y todas las unidades y todas las personas trabajan con gran entusiasmo para llevarlos a efecto.
Enfatizo que este hecho basta para conocer bien la actitud y la posicion de los funcionarios y trabajadores de esta provincia de materializar consecuentemente la politica del partido.
Si todos aceptan con sensibilidad la linea y la politica del partido y se empenan por su materializacion al igual que los habitantes de la provincia Phyong-an del Norte, nuestro territorio patrio se convertira en un futuro no lejano en un paraiso del pueblo mas hermoso y acomodado con montes y llanuras verdes, senalo y subrayo la necesidad de aprender el espiritu y el estilo de lucha de ellos.
Es muy bueno el impetu de los habitantes de esta provincia para abrir primero la puerta que de acceso a la gran potencia prospera, senalo y expreso la conviccion de que la provincia de Phyong-an del Norte cumplira el papel de vanguardia tambien en la produccion agricola.
El Dirigente fue acompanado por Kim Phyong Hae, secretario responsable del Comite del PTC en la Provincia de Phyong-an del Norte.
EPC protesta acciones provocativas de EE.UU. en Phanmunjom
Phanmunjom, 10 de julio (ATCC) -- Por la iniciativa de la parte coreana, tuvieron lugar el dia 10 en este lugar las conversaciones militares a nivel del primer coronel RPDC-EE.UU.
En la ocasion, el primer coronel Kwak Yong Hun de la Representacion del Ejercito Popular de Corea en Phanmunjom formulo fuertes protestas y responsabilizo a la parte de tropas norteamericanas por el hecho de que en los ultimos dias, se cometen casi todos los dias los actos provocativos que obstaculizan el cumplimiento del deber de los guardias de la parte coreana en el area de reuniones de Phanmunjom y agudizan la situacion de esta zona.
El pasado 11 de junio, a traves de un aviso telefonico, nuestra parte llamo la atencion por decenas de acciones provocativas por parte de los guardias norteamericanos, preciso Kwak.
Sin embargo, prosiguieron todos estos dias tales actos viles y vulgares, que resultan una flagrante violacion del Acuerdo de Armisticio y los otros bilaterales sobre la seguridad y el orden del area de reuniones de Phanmunjom, protesto categoricamente.
Advirtio que dado que el area de reuniones de Phanmunjom es un lugar de aguda confrontacion militar donde se encanonan los militares de ambas partes en relaciones de beligerancia y hostilidad, cualquier minimo acto provocativo e irritante a la contraparte puede convertirse al momento en un choque armado.
Al despreciar esta realidad, la parte de tropas norteamericanas fomenta y tolera tacitamente de continuo tales actos provocativos partiendo de su siniestro intento de llevar al extremo la situacion de la Peninsula Coreana mediante la fabricacion en esa zona de otro caso drastico al estilo del "Incidente de Phanmunjom" ocurrido en la decada de 1970 y del "Incidente de tiroteos" de la decada de 1980, revelo.
El Ejercito Popular de Corea observa agudamente con alta vigilancia los movimientos militares de la parte de tropas norteamericanas, que si bien habla tanto de cara a cara del mejoramiento de las relaciones con la RPDC, comete a las espaldas sucesivas acciones provocativas que coinciden con los ejercicios belicos en la tierra, el mar y el cielo para atacarla, que se desarrollan casi todos los dias, y con el armamento del ejercito titere surcoreano con sofisticados medios belicos para estimularlo a la confrontacion fratricida con el Norte, subrayo.
La parte de tropas norteamericanas reconocio la gravedad del caso presentado por nuestra parte, pero informo de que realizaria el simulacro militar conjunto "Ulji Freedom Guidance" del 18 al 22 de agosto, no conveniente al caracter de las conversaciones.
La parte de la RPDC lo califico de acto criminal que exacerba la tension de la Peninsula Coreana y demando energicamente a la parte norteamericana a pararlo de inmediato.
Por ultimo, la parte coreana advirtio que la parte de tropas norteamericanas debe darse clara cuenta de la realidad de hoy y actuar con prudencia y subrayo que el EPC no perdonara jamas a los provocadores que atentan en lo minimo la dignidad y la soberania de la RPDC.
ATCC comenta intento de llevar al fracaso la desnuclearizacion
Pyongyang, 10 de julio (ATCC) -- Justamente cuando entro en la nueva coyuntura la implementacion del Acuerdo del 3 de Octubre alcanzado en las conversaciones a 6 bandas gracias a los esfuerzos sinceros de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea, las fuerzas conservadoras intransigentes de Estados Unidos exponen abiertamente su intento de frenarla.
Como parte de ello, presentaron al congreso el proyecto de ley sobre la dilacion de la exclusion de la RPDC de la lista de los "paises que apoyan el terrorismo" abogando por la necesidad de la "verificacion correcta de la declaracion nuclear" y de la "cancelacion de armas nucleares".
Nuestro pais lo rechaza tajantemente considerandolo como una bajeza para abortar al fin y al cabo la desnuclearizacion de la Peninsula Coreana.
Lo mas grave del caso es que dichas fuerzas norteamericanas tergiversan de gravedad nuestra voluntad y esfuerzos por la desnuclearizacion para alcanzar sus objetivos.
Actualmente, la neutralizacion de nuestra instalacion nuclear se realizo en mas de 80 por ciento y cumplimos el punto del acuerdo que nos exigio presentar la declaracion nuclear correcta y perfecta.
En particular, la voladura de la torre de enfriamiento de la Central Nuclear Experimental deviene la medida de buena fe que volvio a demostrar al interior y exterior del pais nuestra voluntad de desnuclearizar la Peninsula Coreana.
A pesar de esto, las fuerzas conservadoras intransigentes de EE.UU. criticaron a nuestro pais como "pais con excelente habilidad de enganar" alegando que es "posible que el Norte de Corea posea la tecnologia de obtener el uranio altamente enriquecido sin la torre de enfriamiento".
Esto demuestra a que grado llego la politica hostil de ellas a Corea.
El principio de "accion vs. accion" es lo clave en la desnuclearizacion.
EE.UU. debe unirse a nuestros esfuerzos al ejecutar con fidelidad sus compromisos.
Nuestro pais tomara la decision en lo correspondiente a las acciones futuras de EE.UU.
Las fuerzas conservadoras intransigentes de EE.UU. deben saber bien que si siguen poniendo trabas al avance de las conversaciones, asumiran la entera responsabilidad de todas las consecuencias de ello.
Yang Hyong Sop se reune con Ri Ki Ha
Pyongyang, 10 de julio (ATCC) -- El vicepresidente del Presidium de la Asamblea Popular Suprema de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea, Yang Hyong Sop, departio el dia 10 con el vicepresidente superior de la Federacion Internacional de Taekwon-Do, Ri Ki Ha, en el capitalino Palacio de los Congresos Mansudae.
