Japan's Hostile Policy toward DPRK Denounced

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee for the Solidarity for Progress in south Korea reportedly released a protest on August 15 denouncing the Japanese government's hostile policy toward the DPRK and its crackdown upon the Korean residents in Japan.
The protest condemns the Japanese government hell bent these days on the repression of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Koreans in Japan, persisting in their hostile policy toward the DPRK against the flow of the times toward peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Japan is rushing headlong along the road of revival of militarism while beautifying the war of aggression, far from apologizing for its past crimes, notes the protest.
It accuses Japan of bringing the military tension to a higher pitch in Northeast Asia, getting overheated in arms buildup with outcries over "threat from the DPRK".
Noting that the repression of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan is being carried into extremes day by day after Abe took office, the protest urges the Japanese government to make an honest apology and compensation for the past crimes.
