Floral Baskets Laid before Kim Il Sung's Statues
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung in different parts of the country on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his demise.
Servicepersons, people from all walks of life, school youth and children in Pyongyang mounted Mansu Hill.
Seen standing before the President's statue on Mansu Hill was a floral basket sent by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
Placed before the statue amid the playing of floral basket-laying music were floral baskets in the name of the party and power bodies, public organizations, ministries, national institutions, scientific, educational, cultural and art, public health and media institutions, industrial establishments, farms, schools, etc.
Floral baskets were also laid there in the name of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, overseas Koreans and foreigners.
The participants paid tribute to the President.
Floral baskets, bouquets and flowers were placed before his statues in different places of the country.
Kim Il Sung Remembered in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting, lecture, film shows and photo exhibition were held in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Singapore between June 27 and July 2 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Displayed in the venues of the functions were photos showing the glorious revolutionary life and immortal feats of the President and Kim Jong Il.
The participants in the film shows watched the Korean films "The Great Life in 1994," "Comrade Kim Il Sung Will Always Be with Humankind" and "To Hold the Fatherly Leader in Higher Esteem."
The speakers at the functions praised the President as a prominent thinker and theoretician who founded the Juche idea, an extraordinary strategist who indicated a new road of the anti-imperialist struggle and the greatest statesman who set an example of the single-minded unity.
July 4 Joint Statement Supported in Switzerland
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea released a statement on July 2 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the July 4 joint statement.
The statement said that President Kim Il Sung laid down the three principles of national reunification-- independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity-- and that they were clearly reflected in the joint statement published by the north and the south of Korea on July 4, 1972.
The July 4 joint statement was, however, reduced to a dead paper due to the perfidy of the south Korean authorities subservient to the United States, the statement noted, and continued:
In the subsequent period the inter-Korean relations improved again and the historic inter-Korean summit was arranged to adopt the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration. This was the fruition of the dynamic leadership provided by the President and Kim Jong Il.
Abolition of NSL Demanded
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Federation of University Students in the 21st Century reportedly made public a statement on July 1, in which it demanded the abolition of the "National Security Law" standing in the way of peaceful reunification.
Recalling that in June alone the security authorities walked away 5 persons related to the south Korean Federation of University Student Councils (Hanchongryon) including Jang Song Hoe, chairman of the 14th-term Hanchongryon, on the charge of violating the NSL, the statement noted that it was an anti-reunification act of swimming against the trend of the times.
The statement stressed that all the university students of this land would stage dynamic actions to get the NSL repealed at an early date.
Kim Il Sung's Works Published and Studied Worldwide
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The work is going on worldwide to publish, study and distribute famous works of President Kim Il Sung.
26.7 million copies of the works of the President have been published in more than 60 national languages in at least 110 countries since the 1950s.
Prestigious publishing houses in 40 countries translated the President's works and printed over 898,000 copies of them in over 30 languages in the 1960s in wake of the first publication of "Kim Il Sung's Selected Works" in Japanese language by a Japanese publishing house in August, Juche 41 (1952).
In 1975 alone, publishing houses in 54 countries including Finland, Sweden, the U.S. and Peru translated the President's works in 31 languages and published more than 3.357 million copies of them.
Publishing houses in at least 100 countries including China, Russia and Mexico have translated the President's works in 60 languages and brought out 189,500 copies of them since 1994.
249,400 copies of the President's reminiscences "With the Century" were printed in 20 countries for 15 years in the wake of its first publication in Juche 81 (1992). And there have taken place 2,000 events in more than 100 countries to study and disseminate the reminiscences including seminars, public discussions on the reminiscences and reading sessions so far.
Juche idea study groups, other organizations and bodies in many countries and regions held more than 17,000 seminars on the President's works.
A grand seminar on the Juche idea, the first of its kind in history, took place in the capital of Lebanon in December, Juche 60 (1971) with the attendance of 23 delegations from 12 Middle and Near East countries.
The year 1986 alone witnessed a total of at least 7,400 national seminars, joint seminars of Juche idea study groups, seminars of Juche idea study groups and university seminars on the Juche idea held in 57 countries.
At least 800 seminars including the Latin American Regional Seminar on the Juche Idea and the European Regional Seminar on the Juche Idea for Global Peace and Independence were held in the first half of Juche 76 (1987) on the occasion of the 75th birthday of the President.
Regional seminars on the Juche idea were held in Asia, Africa and Latin America in the 2000s. The world congress on the Juche idea was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. And the world congress on the cause of independence against imperialism in the 21st century was held in Caracas, Venezuela.
Statues of Kim Il Sung Erected in Different Places
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Over the last decade the Korean people have erected or rebuilt the statues of President Kim Il Sung to make them stand more sublime in different places associated with his revolutionary history and renovated revolutionary sites and museums to add historic materials and relics to them.
The Monument to the Victory in the Battle of Musan Area with the statue of the President standing at its head was unveiled in the field of Taehongdan in the area of Mt. Paektu on May 23, Juche 91 (2002).
On the occasion of the Day of the Sun that year a statue of the President embarking upon the road of revolution in his early years was erected at the Kaechon Revolutionary Site associated with the "250 Mile Journey for National Liberation" and statues of the President in his childhood were also erected at Kusong Middle School No. 1 and Middle School No. 1 in Munchon City.
His statues also appeared in various parts of the country including Kim Il Sung Military University, the Mansudae Art Studio, Chongsan-ri of Kangso County, and Ranam District of Chongjin City.
The Korean Revolution Museum opened to the visitors the hall of "The leader and his comrade-in-arms" on the Day of the Sun in Juche 88 (1999) and displayed a variety of specimens of crops and minerals used by the President for his study at his office. It also received at least 420 more materials on the revolutionary activities of the President in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the country.
The hall of "Supreme commander and his comrade-in-arms" at the revolutionary museum of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces was opened to the visitors in February this year.
The Rangrim Revolutionary Site has been restored to its original state in Juche 91 (2002) to exhibit in its site and museum the revolutionary materials and relics related to military and political activities conduced by the President in the area during the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle and barked trees bearing slogans and other revolutionary relics.
Revolutionary sites were newly built in Mt. Purae, Sinwon and Songmun to convey to posterity the story about the leadership provided by the President to explore the untrodden path of nation-building after liberation.
The Exhibition of Works on the Juche Idea and revolutionary museums in Yonsa, Sinchon, Migok and Rajin and other areas were opened to display revolutionary materials and relics after they were unearthed and ascertained.
More revolutionary relics were added to the revolutionary museums in Mangyongdae and Chilgol.
Revolutionary museums put on display more relics associated with the President's revolutionary activities. Photos showing the exploits he performed for the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, instructions of the Cabinet, orders, minutes and other revolutionary materials are added to the exhibits at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and the Kosanjin Revolutionary Museum.
Kim Il Sung Remembered by Schoolchildren
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- An event of story telling and singing "The Generalissimo is always with us" was held by schoolchildren here Saturday.
Prior to the event, the participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Pyongyang Changjon Primary School and paid tribute to him.
It began with a tale and chorus "The Generalissimo is our sun." The performers sang songs, with tears in their eyes, ardently yearning for the President who provided the children with everything precious, regarding them as the "kings" of the country and worked hard all his life to hand down a rich and powerful reunified country to posterity.

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Papers Sunday editorially commemorate the anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung, the nation's biggest memorial day. Homage Paid to Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Leading officials of the party and state and people from all walks of life visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace Sunday on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
A floral basket was placed before the statue of the President in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
Written on the ribbon of the floral basket were letters "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung is immortal."
The participants paid high tribute to the statue of the President and made a bow to him who lies in state in humble reverence.

Kim Il Sung Lives in Mind of World People
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- A stream of Korean people and foreign guests are visiting the International Friendship Exhibition on the occasion of the 13th death anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
On display there are in the Hall of Immortality in the exhibition precious gifts presented to him by foreign public figures and overseas Koreans from Juche 83 (1994).
Among them are "Chair for Tribe Chief " and "Costume for Tribe Chief" sent to him by a king of a Nigerian tribe on the occasion of the President's birthday (April 15) in 1995, wooden craftwork "Cart" by a foreign minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, jewel craftwork "Tree of Hope" by the president of Women's International Democratic Federation and "Flower Vase" by the director of the Italian Institute of International Relations. The gifts reflect the boundless reverence of the world people for the President who made an immortal contribution to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

DPRK's Cause of Independent and Peaceful National Reunification Supported
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea issued a statement on July 2 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the July 4 Joint Statement calling on all the progressives of the world to conduct widespread activities supporting the DPRK's cause of independent and peaceful national reunification.
The statement said that the publication of the joint statement marked a historic event as it gave origin to the great national unity in the long history of the reunification movement of the Korean nation.
President Kim Il Sung put forward a great programme for reunification which helps unite all Koreans as one irrespective of ideology and political view in order to achieve the independent national reunification of the country in the common interests of the nation, the statement said, and continued: This was a feat of historical significance performed by him and the three principles of national reunification have enjoyed broad support of the international community.
Kim Jong Il formulated the three principles, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo put forward by the President as the three charters for national reunification.
Under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration was adopted to achieve historical progress in the movement for the reunification of Korea.
The international community which warmly hailed the July 4 joint statement should fully support the Korean people in their efforts to achieve national reunification in the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.
Korean People's Struggle Supported in Guinea
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea on June 26 on occasions of the 7th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, the 35th anniversary of the July 4 joint statement and the month of international solidarity with the Korean people.
Malik Souma, director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea, addressing the meeting, sent full support to the Korean people in their efforts to build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation and reunify the country. He went on to say:
There took place the inter-Korean summit, the first of its kind in the history of national division, and the historic June 15 joint declaration was published in Pyongyang in June 2000.

Kim Il Sung Remembered by Cambodian Crewmen
Wonsan, July 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting to remember President Kim Il Sung was held by Cambodian crewmen at Wonsan Port, Kangwon Province on July 5 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his demise.
Present there were the captain and crewmen of the Cambodian-flagged ship "High Sea."
Speakers at the meeting praised the President as the most prominent leader in history and the sun of humankind as he is revered by all people.
The President founded the immortal Juche idea, thereby building the man-centered socialist country and making a great contribution to the accomplishment of the human cause of independence, they noted, adding that the cause of the President is being creditably carried to completion by Kim Jong Il.
A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting.

Release of Protesters against FTA Demanded
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea reportedly made public a statement on July 3, in which it denounced the security authorities for suppressing the people participating in the actions against the conclusion of the "Free Trade Agreement."
The statement accused the security authorities of arresting O Jong Ryol and Jong Kwang Hun, co-representatives of the All-People Movement Headquarters for Checking the South Korea-U.S. "Free Trade Agreement" that day on the charge of violating the "law on assembly and demonstration."
Asserting that their activities are just, the statement demanded the security authorities immediately release them.
Meeting Held in China to Remember Kim Il Sung
Beijing, July 5 (KCNA Correspondent) -- The China Association for International Friendly Contact and the Beijing Association for International Friendly Contact co-sponsored a meeting to remember President Kim Il Sung in Beijing on July 5 on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his demise.
Prior to the meeting, the participants watched the Korean film "They were always together on the road to bring about the people's wellbeing."
Shen Weiping, vice-president of the China Association for International Friendly Contact, in his speech at the meeting said that Kim Il Sung was a close friend of the Chinese people, adding that he forged the relations of warm revolutionary friendship with revolutionaries of the elder generation of China and visited China dozens of times to lay a solid foundation of the Sino-Korean friendship.
Noting that the Korean people have achieved great successes in the political, economic, military and other fields under the wise leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il over the past 13 years, he sincerely hoped that they would attain the grand goal of building a great prosperous powerful nation as early as possible.
He expressed firm belief that the traditional friendly relations provided by the leaders of the elder generation would steadily grow stronger thanks to the care of the leaders of the two countries and the concerted efforts of the Chinese and the Korean people.

Dismantlement of "UN Command" and Pullback of U.S. Forces Demanded
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification reportedly released a statement on July 1 in which it demanded the dismantlement of the "UN Command" and the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.
The statement said that the command has been used as a tool for carrying out the U.S. Korea policy of domination, interference and aggression, adding that it has hamstrung the Korean nation's efforts for reunification even in the June 15 era as evidenced by its interference in every undertaking of the inter-Korean exchange and cooperation.
The statement disclosed that the U.S. is contemplating turning the command into a new war mechanism for realizing the "strategic flexibility" of its forces.
It is the only way of retaking the sovereignty of Korea to force the U.S. to dismantle the command and withdraw its forces from south Korea, noted the statement, stressing the headquarters would join all the south Koreans in the vigorous anti-U.S. struggle to this end.
Events Held to Remember President Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting titled "An Endless Stream of People Yearning for the President" was held by members of the Korean Democratic Women's Union (KDWU) and women at the Hall of Women on July 6 and a remembrance concert entitled "The Care of the Sun" was given by school youth and children at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on the same day on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of his demise.
The meeting which started with chorus "An Endless Stream of People Yearning for the President" was addressed first by Pak Sun Hui, chairperson of the Central Committee of the KDWU. She said that the immortal exploits the President performed by pursuing the politics of respecting women all his great life and thereby training the Korean women into a mighty force for the revolution and construction and developing the union into a true revolutionary organization have shined more brilliantly generation after generation under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
Yun Ki Jong and other women who had the honor of being received by the President and other speakers said that they could never forget the loving care shown by him for the Korean women with which he projected them as dependable revolutionaries and heroines of the era and always led them forward. They spoke with deep emotion of their great happiness of being blessed with the illustrious leaders.
Prior to the concert, Kim Kyong Ho, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, said it is thanks to Kim Jong Il who is possessed of the same noble view on the younger generation, the view on future as the President had that the history of the love of the youngsters, the history of giving importance to the youth is given steady continuity in this land.
The concert began with "Song of General Kim Il Sung". The performers sang high praises of the immortal revolutionary exploits performed by the President in their repertoire including female chorus of immortal famous work "Song of Korea", female solo and pangchang "Endless Stream of People Yearning for the President" and chorus "Leader is always with us".
Life for People's Happiness
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The Korean people are looking back upon the life of President Kim Il Sung who devoted himself for the people's happiness, on the occasion of the his demise anniversary.
He showed great human love that no one had done.
He made the Korean revolution with comradely obligation and warm affection for the people. There are so many stories about the lofty outlook on the people the President had showed during the anti-Japanese armed struggle, saying that the commander was also a son of the people.
He exerted indefatigable efforts to provide a happy life to the people while leading the revolution and construction after the liberation of the country.
He passed the fork in Mangyongdae to meet workers of the Kangson Steel Works right after the liberation prior to the visit to his native home that he had remembered for tens of years since his departure. In the flames of the Korean war, he helped peasants sow seeds and manure fields in Wonhwa-ri. The fork, the fields and all the edifices including the Pyongyang Grand Theatre and Sungri and Changgwang Streets still tell his deep affection for the people.
The President's devotion for the happiness of people does not know its depth.
In October Juche 74 (1985), he saw it to that a decree of the Central People's Committee of the DPRK was issued to enforce the social security system for the co-op farmers and instructed senior officials of the then Administration Council to carry on revolutionary policies on a higher stage according to the developing reality so as to provide more affluent and cultured life to the people.
He also saw it to that the 26th Session of the 8th Central People's Committee of the DPRK held in May 1989 took epochal measures in connection with the issues related to improving the people's living standard including issues arising in the tideland construction, seashore cultivation and fish-breeding.
The Korean people keep in their minds that he found himself in fields of co-op farms in his 80s in June 1994 and presided over a conference of senior officials in the field of economy to boost the national economy just before his great hearts stopped beating in July.
Japanese Authorities' Moves to Seize Hall of Chongryon Headquarters Denounced
Tokyo, July 5 (KNS-KCNA) -- Chairmen of the Saitama, Iwate, Hyogo and Yamaguchi prefectural headquarters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, separately released statements in denunciation of the moves to seize the Hall of the Chongryon Headquarters.
They in their statements condemned with national resentment the Japanese Resolution and Collection Corporation for sending an absolutely unreasonable application to the Tokyo District Court for the forced sale of the plottage and building of the Chongryon Headquarters.
This tyrannical action self-reveals that the corporation is aimed to usurp the Hall of the Chongryon Headquarters pursuant to the Abe regime's anti-DPRK, anti-Chongryon hostile policy, the statements charged, and continued:
The Japanese authorities are working hard to usurp even the Hall of the Chongryon Headquarters, not content with having harshly suppressed it in a bid to gratify their dirty political greed. This is a wanton violation of the DPRK's sovereignty which no previous regimes of Japan have ever dared to do.
The Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan can never tolerate the politically motivated sinister moves of the Abe regime to seize the hall, the statements declared, demanding the corporation immediately withdraw the above-mentioned unjust application.
The statements urged the Abe regime to stop the anti-DPRK, anti-Chongryon moves at once and behave with discretion.
Abe Group's Suppression of Chongryon Assailed
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The Abe group is working hard to force upon the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) the sale of the plottage and the hall of its headquarters through the Resolution and Collection Corporation.
This is a wanton infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK which no previous regime of Japan has ever dared as it is a move to physically remove the centre of Chongryon and stamp out the activities of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan. Rodong Sinmun today says this in a signed commentary.
The commentary goes on:
The Japanese reactionaries are running amuck to suppress the bare-handed Chongryon. This clearly indicates that they are villains and gangsters ignorant of basic international law, diplomatic usage and ethics and morality.
Their move to usurp the building of Chongryon was prompted by Abe's premeditated plot and his direct instruction to realize his sinister political ambition to all intents and purposes.
Feeling uneasy about the steady decline of the support rate for Abe with the approach of the election to the House of Councilors, he is keen to put the DPRK-Japan relations to the lowest ebb through the campaign to usurp the building of Chongryon in a bid to fish in troubled waters.
Their move is aimed at hamstringing the efforts to bring about progress at the six-party talks designed to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula and creating a favorable environment for the militarization of Japan.
The Abe group is harshly suppressing Chongryon which has done nothing wrong as soon as its delegates went back to Japan from the six-party talks where they kept mum though they had opportunities to discuss if they had something to say as regards the issue of the DPRK-Japan relations. This is a very crude and nasty deed, indeed. The serious and grave situation created by the Abe group casts a question as to whether there is any need for Japan's continued participation in the six-party talks.

Rodong Sinmun condena represion a Chongryon en Japon
Pyongyang, 7 de julio (ATCC) -- En estos tiempos, por conducto de la Corporacion de Resolucion y Coleccion, la pandilla de Abe intenta someter a la subasta forzada el terreno y el edificio de la Casa Central de la Chongryon (Asociacion General de Coreanos Residentes en Japon).
En un comentario individual difundido este sabado, el diario Rodong Sinmun condena que esa maniobra se encamina a neutralizar la Chongryon y el movimiento de los coreanos radicados en Japon al eliminar fisicamente ese centro de sus actividades.
Ninguno de los sucesivos gobiernos de Japon se atrevio a ese brutal atentado a la soberania de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea, precisa el comentarista y prosigue:
La enloquecida campana represiva a la inerme Chongryon por parte de los reaccionarios islenos muestra claramente que estos bribones y bandidos no respetan el mas elemental derecho internacional ni las costumbres diplomaticas ni la etica ni tampoco la moralidad.
Esa maniobra para tomar por la fuerza ese edificio de la Chongryon parte del premeditado complot y la indicacion directa de Abe que quiere emplear este asunto en sus mezquinos objetivos politicos.
Inquietado por la caida en picada de apoyo popular justamente en visperas de las elecciones de consejeros, Abe trata de sacar algun provecho en llevar a la peor fase las relaciones entre la RPDC y Japon mediante el arrebato del contencioso establecimiento.
Ademas, tales tentativas de los reaccionarios japoneses persiguen un malsano fin de frenar el avance de las conversaciones a 6 bandas para la desnuclearizacion de la Peninsula Coreana y dar un clima favorable a la militarizacion de su pais.
Si la banda de Abe tuviera algo que decir en cuanto a las relaciones con la RPDC, debio haberlo dicho en la cita a 6 bandas.
Sin embargo, esta horda tan vil y malvada se mostro callada en la mesa del dialogo y a las espaldas, acosa brutalmente a la inocente Chongryon.
La situacion tan critica, que se genera por culpa de ella, hace cuestionar la continua participacion de Japon en la cita seis-partita.
Desarrollados en Corea actos en memoria de Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, 7 de julio (ATCC) -- En ocasion del XIII aniversario del fallecimiento del Presidente Kim Il Sung, tuvieron lugar la vispera una escena de las gremiales de la Union de Mujeres Democraticas de Corea (UMDC) y otras feminas y un concierto de los jovenes y ninos escolares en la Casa de la Mujer y en el Palacio de Ninos y Escolares de Mangyongdae, respectivamente.
En el primer acto intitulado "Gran oleaje de anoranza", iniciado con el coro de la cancion homonima, intervino la presidenta del Comite Central de la UMDC, Pak Sun Hui.
Al practicar la politica de respetar a la mujer durante toda su vida, el Presidente Kim Il Sung formo a las coreanas como poderosas promotoras de la revolucion y la construccion y desarrollo la UMDC como una verdadera organizacion revolucionaria, recordo la oradora y prosiguio que esta imborrable hazana adquiere mayor esplendor en el nuevo siglo gracias al Dirigente Kim Jong Il.
Las mujeres recibidas en audiencia por el Presidente, inclusive Yun Ki Jong, y otras oradoras dijeron que nunca podran olvidarse del amor paternal del Presidente, quien convirtio a las coreanas en las fidedignas revolucionarias y las heroinas de la epoca y las condujo paso a paso, y hablaron en tono emotivo de la gran fortuna de las coreanas de contar con excelentes lideres.
Por otra parte, antes de iniciar el concierto "Regazo del Sol" en memoria del Presidente, el primer secretario del Comite Central de la Union de la Juventud Socialista Kim Il Sung, Kim Kyong Ho, subrayo que gracias al General Kim Jong Il, quien tiene la misma concepcion de las generaciones venideras y del futuro del Presidente, continuara siempre en la patria la historia de amor a las futuras generaciones y apreciacion a la juventud.
En este concierto, que descorrio su telon con el coro la "Cancion del General Kim Il Sung", las ejecutantes encomiaron las inmortales hazanas revolucionarias del Presidente en varias piezas como la obra clasica "Cancion de Corea" (en coro femenino), "Gran oleaje de anoranza" (en solo femenino y pangchang -coro del foso-) y "El Lider estara para siempre con nosotros" (en coro).
CIERECO llama a apoyar causa de reunificacion de Corea
Pyongyang, 7 de julio (ATCC) -- Con motivo del 35o aniversario de la publicacion de la Declaracion Conjunta del 4 de Julio, el Comite Internacional de Enlace por la Reunificacion y la Paz en Corea (CIERECO) hizo publica el dia 2 una declaracion llamando a todas las fuerzas progresistas del mundo a desplegar con amplitud las actividades de apoyo a la causa de reunificacion independiente y pacifica de Corea.
La publicacion de la Declaracion Conjunta del 4 de Julio fue un evento historico que dio origen a la gran unidad nacional en la larga historia del movimiento de la nacion coreana por la reunificacion, senala la declaracion y continua:
Una de las proezas historicas del Presidente Kim Il Sung es que este presento un gran programa que permite agrupar en un solo haz a los coreanos por encima de las diferencias de ideologias y criterios politicos para lograr la reunificacion independiente del pais conforme a los intereses comunes de la nacion.
Los tres principios de la reunificacion de la patria disfrutaron de amplio apoyo de la sociedad internacional.

La sociedad internacional, que aplaudio efusivamente la Declaracion Conjunta del 4 de Julio, debera apoyar activamente los esfuerzos de la nacion coreana por reintegrar el pais segun el espiritu de la Declaracion Conjunta Norte-Sur del 15 de Junio.
Acto de recordacion de Kim Il Sung en entidades chinas
Beijing, 5 de julio (ATCC) -- En ocasion del 13 aniversario del fallecimiento del Presidente Kim Il Sung, tuvo lugar el dia 5 en Beijing un encuentro de recordacion bajo coauspicios de la Asociacion China de Enlace para la Amistad Internacional y la entidad homonima de Beijing.
Los participantes vieron primero el documental coreano "Siempre juntos en el camino para el pueblo".
Al intervenir en el encuentro, el vicepresidente de la primera entidad, Shen Weiping, recordo que el Presidente Kim Il Sung fue un intimo amigo del pueblo chino y contrajo una gran amistad revolucionaria con los revolucionarios chinos de veterana generacion.
Continuo que sento una solida base de la amistad entre ambos paises al realizar en decenas de ocasiones la visita a China.
A lo largo de estos 13 anos, bajo la sabia direccion del Secretario General Kim Jong Il, el pueblo coreano logro grandes exitos en varias ramas como la politica, la economia y los asuntos militares, subrayo y deseo de todo corazon que el alcance cuanto antes esa magna meta de construir una gran potencia prospera.
Estamos convencidos de que bajo la atencion de los lideres de ambos paises y gracias a los esfuerzos conjuntos de los pueblos chino y coreano, se consolidaran y se desarrollaran incesantemente las tradicionales relaciones de amistad preparadas por los mandatarios de veterana generacion, concluyo.
Le siguio en usar la palabra, la hija de Feng Zhongyun, chino relacionado con la lucha revolucionaria antijaponesa, Feng Yila, quien expreso su decision de realizar mas trabajos favorables para consolidar y desarrollar constantemente la tradicional amistad entre el pueblo chino y el coreano teniendo siempre presente la encarecida encomienda del Presidente Kim Il Sung.
En la cita estuvieron presentes el secretario general de la Asociacion China de Enlace para la Amistad Internacional, Chen Zuming, el vicepresidente ejecutivo de la asociacion homologa de Beijing, Bao Liangming, y otras personalidades, Zhou Wei y otros familiares de los chinos vinculados con la lucha revolucionaria antijaponesa.
