KPA Air Force Command Gives One More Warning to U.S. Imperialists
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialist warmongers committed one more grave military provocation by illegally infiltrating a strategic reconnaissance plane into the sky above the DPRK's economic waters on June 12. In this regard the Air Force Command of the Korean People's Army issued the following report on Monday:
At around 12:05 on June 12, an overseas-based strategic reconnaissance plane of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces infiltrated into the sky above the waters of the DPRK east of Chongjin and Hwadae and made a shuttle flight there for hours to spy on its strategic targets.
Such ceaseless illegal infiltration and aerial espionage are arousing a bitter indignation from the officers and men of the KPA Air Force.
It is an indigenous disposition of our revolutionary armed forces to mercilessly punish the aggressors.
The KPA Air Force warns again that the U.S. imperialist warmongers will be buried in the East Sea of Korea if they continue running amuck without discretion despite our warnings.
Kim Jong Il's Greetings to Putin
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, Monday sent a message of greetings to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on the occasion of the national day of Russia.
The message said:
I extend warm congratulations to you and the government and people of your country on the national day of the Russian Federation.
I express conviction that the long traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would continue to develop in depth in different fields in conformity with the common aspiration and desire of the two peoples in the future, too.

Songun Idea Praised in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The 42nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was commemorated in Bangladesh and Democratic Congo on June 2 and 3.
A reporter and speakers at a joint seminar on the Songun idea and the anti-imperialist struggle held in Barisal, Bangladesh said that the Songun idea based on the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, great leader and father of socialist Korea, is the most correct guiding idea for the accomplishment of the cause of independence against imperialism.
The present situation requires the popular masses to embody the Songun idea in the struggle for the building of a new society, they said, calling upon the adherents of the Juche idea to deeply study the validity and vitality of the Songun idea which were verified in practices and conduct energetic activities for applying it to the reality.

Libyan Figure on Friendly Relations with DPRK
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Libya and the DPRK, far away as they are from each other geographically, established friendly and cooperative relations in different fields and have developed them from long ago and Libya hopes that these relations will steadily grow in strength in the future, too, said Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim, assistant general secretary of the General People's Congress of Libya, when receiving credentials from Kim Tong Je, DPRK ambassador to Libya, on June 7.

Special Internet Homepage on DPRK Opens
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) opened a special Internet homepage on June 2 on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Seen on the homepage is a portrait of Kim Jong Il.
In its preface the homepage said that Kim Jong Il considered it his lifelong mission to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started by President Kim Il Sung and has performed immortal exploits for the Party, the revolution, the country and the people, noting that he is a great successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche, supreme commander of the revolutionary armed forces and leader of the people.
Kim Jong Il has ushered in a new era of eternal prosperity for Kim Il Sung's Korea through his tireless revolutionary activities for the last more than four decades, it stressed.
It also edited articles explaining his propositions on the immortal Juche idea and the revolutionary cause of Juche and photos showing the national flag and emblem of the DPRK.
National Day of Russian Federation Observed
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Korean people extend warm congratulations and friendly greetings to the Russian people on the national day of the Russian Federation, says Rodong Sinmun in a signed article Monday.
Noting that energetic work is in progress in Russia to build a powerful state, the article goes on:
Russia is developing friendly and cooperative relations with other countries, maintaining an anti-war and peace-loving stand in its external affairs.
Its government is striving to develop in depth good neighborly relations of friendship and cooperation with the DPRK.
The DPRK-Russia relations are now growing in scope and developing comprehensively in many fields, political, economic, scientific and technological and cultural. The bilateral friendly ties are plumbing new depth with each passing day.

Belgian Woman Lawyer Gives Impressions of Revisit to Korea
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Belgian woman lawyer Marie-Louise Moerens on a visit to the DPRK was interviewed by KCNA at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel on June 10.
Asked about impressions of her revisit to Korea after the lapse of many decades, she said:
This is my second visit to Korea. I paid the first visit in March 1952 in the thick of the Korean War.
At that time I was a member of an investigation group of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers for delving into the brutalities of U.S. troops in Korea.
In those days Korea was utterly reduced to debris in the war provoked by the United States.
Bombs exploded without letup on the ground. But we appreciated a performance by artistes with Pyongyang citizens at the underground theatre in the city and could see a general plan for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Pyongyang City. This plan convinced us that the Korean people were waging a winning war and the U.S. would be defeated by them.
The current visit has left deep impressions upon me.
I fancied I was having a dream, looking over Pyongyang which has changed beyond recognition today with grand monumental edifices, modern high-rise buildings and rows of apartment houses that sprang up on the ruins to which everything had been reduced in U.S. bombings.
All these are a brilliant fruition of the devoted efforts of the Korean people under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.
Yesterday and today of Korea caught me up in a flood of thought.
While staying here, I could witness the indomitable fight of the Korean people to defend and glorify their idea and system, not yielding to the maneuvers of the imperialist allied forces to crush the country, and directly feel the breathing of the heroic people advancing vigorously for the building of a great prosperous powerful socialist nation, closely united around the great leader.
The Korean people will surely win in their struggle for justice, peace and socialism.
Youth and Students Urged to Foil Anti-Reunification Conservatives' Moves in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country's Reunification, in an article titled "The 6th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration and our tasks" issued on June 8, called on the youth and students to take the lead in the struggle to foil the "Grand National Party" and other anti-reunification conservative forces' moves against the DPRK.
Now that the GNP is working hard to block the movement of the Koreans for reunification through an offensive against the June 15 joint declaration and provoke a new war in collusion with the U.S., the youth and students have an urgent task to foil its moves on their own initiative.
Urging the Koreans in the south and the north and overseas to declare before the world their unshakable determination to achieve national cooperation against the U.S. at the upcoming grand festival for national reunification, the article underlined the need for the forces for the nation and democracy to form a grand alliance against conservatives with rare awareness and determination and transparent anti-Americanism.

Seminar on Revival of Japanese Militarism Held in Germany
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- A seminar on the revival of militarism in Japan and peace in Northeast Asia was held in Berlin on May 30.
Present at the seminar were Han Jong Ro, representative of the Korean Women's Society for Peace in Germany, university professors from south Korea and Germany and Korean Germans.
Speakers at the seminar blasted Japan for becoming all the more undisguised in its moves to revive militarism as evidenced by its distortion of history textbooks, its claim to Tok Islet, the chief executive's visit to the Yasukuni Shrine and its revision of "the pacifist constitution".
Accusing Japan of making a bid for permanent membership of the UN Security Council, far from honestly reflecting on its past crimes and apologizing for them, they called upon the Koreans at home and abroad and the world progressives to unite close and stage anti-Japanese actions in various forms and ways.
S. Koreans' Protest Goes On in U.S.
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- A group of demonstrators from south Korea keeps staging anti-U.S. actions in Washington day after day, according to Internet Homepage of Minjok Thongsin in the U.S.
On June 6 the group held in front of the White House a meeting protesting the U.S. expansion of its war bases on the Korean Peninsula and its war moves there.
Speakers at the meeting vehemently denounced the U.S. expansion of war bases and its war moves in south Korea, holding photos showing south Korean military and police forces forcibly removing Taechu primary school on May 4.
Korean Americans and activists of an anti-war peace movement organization in the U.S. also made speeches.
On June 7 the group marched from the Capitol Hill to the White House in protest against the conclusion of the "Free Trade Agreement".
The march was participated in by Father Mun Kyu Hyon of the south Korean Catholic Priests' Council for Justice, Kang Ki Gap, lawmaker from the Democratic Workers' Party, O Jong Ryol, permanent chairman of the National Alliance for Democracy and Reunification and other members of the group, Korean Americans and members of the anti-war peace movement organization in the U.S.

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Teachers and researchers of Han Tok Su Pyongyang University of Light Industry of the DPRK have succeeded in making functional haemostatic bandage.
The bandage is called "water-soluble haemostatic bandage". It dissolves well in water like pulp. When it is applied to wound, it absorbs moisture in blood and lymph.
Also it activates hematopexin by anion in blood to stop bleeding quickly. And it, treated by antibacterial drug, prevents contamination and heals a wound quickly.
The bandage applied to a wound is absorbed partly into human body and the rest can be washed away after it is healed up.
The research team has also made an absorbable bandage for operation, which is absorbed within the body.
The bandage does not need the second-stage operation and prevents adhesion of bowels.
The newly developed bandages are highly appreciated in medical service.
Brilliant life of Kim Chol Ju
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Korean people, with deep emotion, are looking back upon the revolutionary life of Kim Chol Ju, an indomitable revolutionary fighter, who devoted himself to the struggle for the liberation of the country.
He was born in Mangyongdae-dong, Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang (then Nam-ri, Kophyong sub-county, Taedong County, South Phyongan Province) on June 12, Juche5 (1916) as the second son of Kim Hyong Jik, an outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea, and Kang Pan Sok, an outstanding leader of the Korean women's movement.
He, who left Mangyongdae in his early years along with his parents, spent his childhood full of vicissitudes at Kangdong of Korea, Linjiang, Badaogou, Fusong and Antu of China, experiencing the distress and misfortune of a ruined nation.
Under the meticulous guidance and warm care of President Kim Il Sung, his elder brother, he acquired the truth of the revolution and grew up to be a true revolutionary who was possessed of indomitable fighting spirit, firm will, lofty personality and virtues.
He became a core member of the Saenal Children’s Union, the first children’s revolutionary organization in Korea organized by the President and took an active part in art performances for educating and enlightening popular masses and in the publication and distribution of the newspaper “Saenal”.
He joined the Young Communist League in 1929. He solidly built up and expanded the YCL organizations in different areas and trained young people through the revolutionary struggle against the Japanese imperialists.
True to the teachings of the President, he made a distinguished service to carrying the line of united front into practice under the banner of the anti-Japanese joint front and to strengthening the mass foundation of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
He displayed self-sacrificing spirit and bravery in many battles and died a heroic death in an unexpected engagement with Japanese imperialist troops in June 1935.
Indeed, his life was a brilliant life dedicated to the cause of the liberation and freedom of the nation and the revolutionary cause of the working-class.
Kim Yong Nam Greets Putin

Wreath Laid before Liberation Tower
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The officials of the Russian embassy here placed a wreath before the Liberation Tower today on the occasion of the national day of Russia.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Ambassador Andrei Karlov and staff members of the Russian embassy and diplomatic envoys of various countries here.
Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music a wreath and bunches of flowers were placed before the Liberation Tower in the name of the Russian embassy.

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of indomitable revolutionary fighter Kim Chol Ju at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Monday on the occasion of his 90th birth anniversary.
Seen before his bust was a wreath sent by Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.

Kim Jong Il Inspects Command of KPA Large Combined Unit
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, inspected the Command of KPA Large Combined Unit 966.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae and Pak Jae Gyong.
Conducted by the commander of the large combined unit, he went round the monument to the on-the-spot instructions given by President Kim Il Sung, the room devoted to the education in revolutionary relics and the room devoted to the history of the unit.

Un avion espia de los belicistas norteamericanos cometio el dia 10 una grave accion provocativa al invadir ilegalmente el espacio aereo sobre las aguas jurisdiccionales de la Republica Popular Democratica de Corea.
Desde las 9:25 hasta las 10:40, horas aproximadas, un "RC-135" de las fuerzas agresoras norteamericanas, despegado de una base en el extranjero, realizo un vuelo de ida y vuelta en el espacio aereo sobre las aguas jurisdiccionales al este de Hwadae, Sinpho y Wonsan cumpliendo su mision de espionaje.
Con anterioridad, los dias 6 y 8 la misma aeronave navego durante varias horas en el aire al este de Chongjin, Riwon y Wonsan rastreando los objetivos estrategicos de la RPDC.
Estos incidentes, que en estos dias se reportan sucesivamente, significan flagrante violacion de la soberania de la RPDC y del derecho internacional.
La realidad demuestra evidentemente cuan siniestramente maniobran los belicistas yanquis, quienes amenazan abiertamente a la RPDC con el ataque preventivo, para atizar el fuego a la nueva guerra de agresion.
Las fuerzas aereas del EPC advierten con solemnidad que castigaran duramente a los agresores yanquis si estos repiten actos de espionaje aereo invadiendo ilegalmente el espacio aereo de la RPDC.

Pyongyang, 12 de junio (ATCC) -- Con motivo del dia de nacimiento del indoblegable combatiente revolucionario Kim Chol Ju, el pueblo coreano recuerda con profunda emocion su noble vida revolucionaria dedicada a la liberacion de la patria.
El nacio el 12 de junio del 5 (1916) de la Era Juche en el barrio de Mangyongdae del municipio homonimo de la ciudad de Pyongyang (comuna de Nam del canton de Kophyong del distrito de Taedong de la provincia Phyong-an del Sur de aquel tiempo) como segundo hijo de Kim Hyong Jik, destacado dirigente del movimiento antijapones de liberacion nacional de Corea y Kang Pan Sok, destacada dirigente del movimiento femenino de Corea.
Luego de partir de su tierra natal acompanado de sus padres paso su ninez y adolescencia llenas de pruebas y vicisitudes en Kangdong, Linjiang, Badaogou, Fusong, Antu, etc. experimentando directamente la tristeza y desdicha nacional apatridas.
Bajo la esmerada direccion y atencion de su hermano mayor, Presidente Kim Il Sung, el pudo asimilar la verdad de la revolucion y crecer como autentico revolucionario dotado del indoblegable espiritu de lucha, ferrea voluntad, nobles rasgos y virtudes.
Como miembro medular de la Union de Ninos Saenal, primera organizacion revolucionaria de ninos en Corea fundada por el Presidente libro las actividades artisticas y la labor de publicacion y distribucion del periodico "Saenal" para educar e ilustrar a las masas.
Desde 1929 participo en las actividades de la juventud comunista. Se esforzo activamente por ampliar las organizaciones de la juventud comunista en varias regiones y forjo a los jovenes a traves de la lucha practica revolucionaria contra los imperialistas japoneses.
Hizo singular aporte a realizar la linea del frente unido bajo la bandera del frente comun antijapones y a consolidar el terreno masivo de la lucha armada antijaponesa segun las ensenanzas del Presidente.
En numerosas batallas dio pruebas de su valentia y abnegacion, pero cayo heroicamente en junio de 1935 en un inesperado combate encarnizado contra los efectivos japoneses.
De veras, la de Kim Chol Ju fue una vida enteramente dedicada a la causa de liberacion de la patria, la libertad y emancipacion del pueblo, la causa revolucionaria de la clase obrera.
Inventadas vendas hemostaticas en Corea
Pyongyang, 12 de junio (ATCC) -- Los profesores e investigadores de la Universidad de Industria Ligera Han Tok Su de Pyongyang inventaron dos tipos de venda hemostatica, que son muy aplaudidos en los hospitales.
El primero denominado "venda hemostatica soluble" (para heridas externas) se disuelve bien en el agua como pulpa y absorbe la humedad en la sangre y linfa de la parte herida.
Esta venda tratada con liquido esterilizante acelera efectos hemostaticos al activar las funciones de la enzima coaguladora con aniones de la sangre y, de esta forma, cicatriza pronto las heridas.
Alguna parte de la venda usada se absorbe en el cuerpo humano y la restante se quita con el agua despues de que sea curada la herida.
El segundo tipo es la venda absorbible (para la operacion) que se desaparece por completo en el cuerpo humano.
El uso de esta posibilita evitar la segunda operacion e impedir la fusion entre los organos abdominales.
