Kim Jong Suk Will Be Immortal!"

Friendly Meeting at Korean Embassy in Mexico

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- A friendly meeting was held at the DPRK embassy in Mexico on Dec. 10 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Mexico. Present at the meeting were Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, coordinator (leader) of the National Coordination Committee of the WPM, and members of the National Coordination Committee and the National Executive Committee of the WPM and party members, the DPRK ambassador e.p. to Mexico and embassy officials.
The participants first appreciated Korean films "The Korean Peoples' Army, Steel-like Ranks" and "Mass Gymnastic and Artistic Performance 'Arirang', laureate of 'Kim Il Sung Prize'".
The coordinator, referring to the achievements of the Korean people, said in detail that leader Kim Jong Il is brilliantly defending the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation by developing the Korean People's Army into an invincible army with his original Songun politics. He also spoke of the most advantageous Korean educational and public health system and the grandiosity and beauty of capital city of Pyongyang. He wished Kim Jong Il good health and the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people great successes in their struggle to build a great prosperous powerful nation and achieve the reunification of the country.

KCNA Assails Role Played by Japan for UN Passage of "Human Rights" Resolution against DPRK

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- As already reported, the "resolution on human rights" against the DPRK was railroaded through the 60th UN General Assembly due to the pressure and the lobbying operation of the U.S., Britain, Japan and other hostile forces. The "resolution" is peppered with lies and fabrications defaming the advantageous Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses. That was why it failed to get the approval of many member nations at the general assembly as it was a controversial one which clearly indicated the politicization of the human rights issue, selectivity and double standards.
It was ridiculous of Japan to have busied itself to seek the adoption of the "resolution."
Mandarins of the Japanese government vied with each other to meet foreign ambassadors to Japan and wooed them to support the "resolution." In the meantime, the Japanese representative at the UN in New York sent messages to representatives of various countries in which he asked them to vote for the "resolution."
In a word, Japan, which dreams of becoming a "political power," busied itself as a "servant" and "a shock brigade" in the U.S. "human rights" racket. Such behavior of Japan only aroused world public derision and criticism for its typical flattery and servility.
Of course, Japan's flattery and servility towards the U.S., its master, have already been known well.
It was not without reason that even some Japanese politicians said that it was disgusting to see the government acting just as dictated by the U.S. like a running dog.
There is no need to say any more about Japan being criticized by the international community for shamelessly serving the U.S.
But the DPRK can neither tolerate nor connive at Japan taking the lead in the U.S. "human rights" racket in a bid to infringe upon the dignity and interests of the DPRK and cover up its past crimes.
What Japan seeks is to internationalize the "abduction issue" at any cost and thus impair the image of the dignified and inviolable DPRK in the international arena and evade the liquidation of its past.
Japan seems to calculate that its noisy trumpeting about "human rights" to the tune of the U.S. may help achieve its sinister aim. As the DPRK clarified more than once, Japan is not entitled to talk about the "human rights issue" in the DPRK.
Japan is the world's worst kidnapper and biggest criminal which has grown rich at the cost of the blood and sweat shed by the Koreans since its invasion of Korea in the past century.
The crimes committed by Japan against the Korean people in the past can neither be erased by somebody's "protection" and "connivance" nor belittled by dint of its increased servility to the U.S.
Japan's past crimes can neither be considered as redressed nor can it get rid of this yoke unless it makes an honest sincere apology and compensation for them.
No one can say for how long will the U.S. stroke the head of Japan playing the role of a "shock brigade" in its "human rights" racket. The U.S. is not such a country with sense of obligation which the "political dwarfs" of Japan tend to consider.
The Japanese politicians should bear this in mind.

One More S. Korean Peasant Dies

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Peasant Hong Tok Phyo, who was heavily wounded by brutal violence of the police and taken to the hospital of Wonkwang University in Iksan, North Jolla Province, lost his life at the hospital on Dec. 18, according to the south Korean MBC. He participated in the "national rally of peasants" held in Youido of Seoul On Nov. 15 to check the ratification of a bill on rice negotiations by the "National Assembly" and he was seriously hit on his neck, head and other parts of the body by shields of the riot police during a demonstration and he was paralyzed all over.
This murder case sparked off indignation among the south Korean public including the south Korean Federation of Peasants Associations. The federation said that one more peasant Hong died after the death of Jon Yong Chol by the reckless police suppression and repeatedly demanded the resignation of the chief of the "National Police Office", an apology of the "government" and so on.

Possession of Depleted Uranium Bullets by U.S. Troops in S. Korea Disclosed

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the U.S. troops in south Korea have a large number of depleted uranium bullets, according to south Korean CBS. The south Korean Internet Thongil News on Dec.19 said that a declassified document of the U.S. officially confirmed that a great deal of depleted uranium bullets are kept at the U.S. air bases in Osan, Suwon and Chongju of south Korea and in Kadena, Okinawa of Japan.
It has been proved again that the U.S., which has deployed a large number of depleted uranium bullets, a radioactive weapon denounced by the world, in and around south Korea in a bid to ignite a new war on the Korean Peninsula, is, indeed, a vicious criminal country severely violating the security of the Korean nation and world peace.

Police Authorities Urged to Apologize for Their Violent Crackdown upon Peasants' Actions

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- A function of the "day of the third all-people action for punishing the present regime for murdering farmer Jon Yong Chol, protecting national agriculture and winning a legislation guaranteeing rights of part-time workers" was reportedly held in the university street of Seoul on Dec. 17. It was attended by at least 2,500 workers, peasants and students. Mun Kyong Sik, chairman of the south Korean Federation of Peasants Associations, and other speakers charged:
The police office recently punished the chief who commanded the riot police on the spot at that time though it admitted its responsibility for the violent suppression of the peasants' rally held on Nov. 15. This was nothing but a plot to downplay and hide the crime.
Noting that it was the present "regime" that killed farmer Jon, they declared that they would not hold down flags of struggle unless the "government" makes an official apology and the chief of the police office steps down.
A resolution was read out at the rally.
The rally was followed by a demonstration.
Holding high torches, its participants clashed with policemen who completely blocked the intersection in Kwanghwamun, shouting the slogan "Let's try the present regime, a violent and man-killing regime."

U.S. Hit for Human Rights Abuses

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- To lay bare the U.S. imperialists' human rights abuses and bring them to the human rights court is a most important and urgent issue arising in establishing a sound international order, developing human civilization and building a peaceful new world at present, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article. It goes on: The U.S. embarked upon the road of war to conquer the world after declaring a "war of aggression to combat terrorism" before the world. It has since committed unimaginable monstrous human rights abuses in different parts of the world.
The U.S. is the chieftain of aggression and plunder and the kingpin of human rights abuses at present. The hideous human rights abuses committed by the U.S. imperialist aggression troops in Iraq go to clearly prove that they are, indeed, the most ferocious beasts and murderers in the present times. Regulations of the International Military Court and the Far Eastern International Military Tribunal stipulate that the disturbance of peace and massacres of innocent people shall become a crime against humanity, one of the gravest crimes under international law. The U.S. is obsessed by shameless way of thinking and extreme arrogance that any action of it will not pose any problem in meeting its greedy demand and interests. The U.S. is not a "human rights champion" as it claims but the worst human rights abuser in the world and heinous enemy of humankind. The U.S. imperialist aggression troops do not treat the people of other countries as human beings but regard their life as not more than that of a fly. GIs' human rights abuses in different parts of the world are attributable to their violation of state sovereignty committed due to the aggression policy of the present U.S. administration.
The U.S. imperialists advocate "defence of human rights" while placing human rights above state sovereignty. This is aimed at playing down the importance of state sovereignty as much as possible and wantonly violating state sovereignty under the pretext of "human rights". By placing human rights above state sovereignty the U.S. seeks to justify its criminal "anti-terrorist war" and aggression policy. The "anti-terrorist war" committed by the U.S. is not to defend "human rights" but is aimed at invading and dominating other countries.
The U.S. would be well advised to make a clean breast and reflection on its human rights abuses before the world and stand trial for them before advocating the "defence of human rights".

Efficient Compressors Produced in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- The Ryongsong Machine Complex in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is manufacturing various kinds of compressors. The piston-compressor of three cubic meters is a box-framed dry compressor for power stations and electric locomotives.
It has less noise and greater number of axis revolution compared with existing ones.
The 30-cubic meter screw-compressor can be used in coal and ore mines and construction sites.
Its bulk is smaller than others' as it unifies the separated oil tank and oil extractor into one, making it easy to manufacture.
The L-type 20-cubic meter screw-compressor has its cylinders installed like L and cooled with water. It, which is light in weight and smooth in vibration, does not need its installation bed.
Seeing the compressors made by the complex in September last, leader Kim Jong Il was satisfied with its fine products that would contribute to the development of the country and highly appreciated the feats of the workers there.

She joined the Korean People's Revolutionary Army founded and led by President Kim Il Sung in Juche 24 (1935) and displayed unparalleled bravery and self-sacrifice spirit in hundreds of battles, big and small, during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
She earned fame as a crack shot and her feats were told among people and guerrillas like a legend.
She was also a competent and tested political underground worker.
Upholding the strategic plan of the President, she formed basic party organizations and conducted energetic activities to expand the network of the Association for the Liberation of the Fatherland, defying the enemy's strict watch, thus making a contribution to arousing people in the sacred war against the Japanese imperialists and laying the organizational and ideological basis for founding the Party.
She was the paragon of faithful lifeguards, who safeguarded the headquarters of revolution politically, ideologically and with her very life in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
After the liberation of the country, she performed undying exploits in the efforts for building a new country and for emancipating the women, in accordance with the lofty idea of the President. She devoted herself to the building of a rich and powerful, independent and sovereign state. She visited many factories and rural communities, Kim Il Sung University, the Pothong River Improvement Project site, the film studio, Samhung Middle School, Pyongyang Institute, Security Officers Training Centers and other units in different parts of the country.
Her greatest exploit was that she gave birth to leader Kim Jong Il and provided a firm generation to carry forward the Juche revolutionary cause pioneered at the point of bayonet in Mt. Paektu.
