DPRK Foreign Ministry Refutes Anti-DPRK "Resolution on Human Rights Issue"

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry issued a statement Monday in connection with the fact that a "resolution on human rights performance" in the DPRK was adopted in a coercive manner at the third committee of the UN General Assembly on Nov. 17. The statement says:
The resolution is peppered with sheer lies aimed to negate the advantages of the man-centered Korean style socialist system, tarnish its international image and attain the ridiculous purpose of "regime change" in it.
That's why the majority countries of the world have taken issue with the sinister purpose sought by the resolution from the outset, a document clearly indicating politicization, selectivity and double standards concerning the human rights issue.
This was clearly evidenced by the results of the voting in which the majority countries voted against or abstained from voting or stayed away from it. We strongly denounce the U.S. and the EU for using the discussion on the human rights issue for attaining their sinister purposes of opposing developing countries, those anti-U.S. independent countries and categorically oppose and reject the resolution as an illegal document mocking at and violating the inviolable sovereignty of the DPRK.
The U.S. was chiefly to blame for the adoption of such anti-DPRK resolution.
Finding it difficult to force the DPRK to scrap "its nuclear program first" and thus disarm itself, the present U.S. administration with inveterate enmity toward the DPRK has put spurs to its moves to realize the absurd attempt at a "regime change" under the signboard of "human rights". It has malignantly slandered the DPRK by staging such farce as publishing "report on human rights performance" every year. It has spent tens of millions of U.S. dollars for a smear campaign against the DPRK after adopting even the "North Korean Human Rights Act" in 2004.
It defined the act as a "framework for pressurizing the system in the DPRK in two ways i.e. over the nuclear and human rights issues" and worked out a strategy for bringing down its system under the pretext of protecting defectors from north Korea. This has already entered the phase of full-scale effectuation.
What was mentioned in the resolution is no more than sheer fabrications deliberately made by undesirable NGOs on the basis of misinformation to get meager rewards from the U.S.
Just before voting for the resolution the Bush administration launched a big anti-DPRK human rights campaign by setting in motion CNN and other media in the country.
As if it were not enough with this, the U.S. has worked hard to build up force for a "regime change" inside the DPRK, openly clamoring that the U.S. would stand by north Koreans when they rise up in demand of freedom.
The resolution is, therefore, no more than a politically-motivated document faked up by the U.S. to paint its human rights offensive as a "unanimous message of the international community" in a bid to realize a "regime change" in the DPRK .
The U.S. is, however, gravely mistaken.
Neither slander nor calumny against the Korean-style socialist system can ever do any harm to it as it was chosen by the Korean people themselves and defended by them at the cost of their lives.
Noisier racket of outside hostile forces against the DPRK over its "human rights issue" would only reinforce their faith and will for socialism. The Korean people have already keenly realized that human rights precisely represent the state power through their bitter past and life experience. So they are fully determined not to tolerate any attempt to bring down the socialist system, their life and soul.
It is the biggest misfortune and shame for humankind today to see the world's biggest human rights abuser painting itself as a "human rights judge." It is a stark fact recognized by itself and other countries that the U.S. is the world's worst human rights abuser.
It is by no means fortuitous that many Americans including high-ranking officials deplore the fact that their country tops the world's list of murder cases, saying that political rights and freedom and freedom of speech, thinking and expression are in the grip of a crisis.
The Iraqi crisis has clearly proved that the U.S. is a typical human rights abuser.
The Iraqi war is recorded with state-sponsored terrorism and hideous human rights abuses as it has seriously abused human rights with ultra-modern war means and medieval methods involved.
The U.S. dropped depleted uranium shells and chemical weapons and other weapons of mass destruction upon the heads of civilians under the pretext of "anti-terrorism" in Iraq. GIs are torturing prisoners in a medieval manner at secret prisons it set up in different countries of the world at the instruction of the U.S. authorities. These crimes put even the Nazi junta into the shade
The U.S., therefore, is not entitled to say anything about "human rights performance" in any other countries from the moral and legal points of view. Had the EU countries been interested in the human rights issue so much and so willing to handle it in the international arena, they should have taken issue with the U.S. hideous human rights abuse, to begin with.
However, Britain and some other EU countries selected only the human rights performances in developing countries as targets of their accusations, while uttering not a word about the U.S. human rights abuses.
We can not but question the true aim sought by them; whether they need this resolution, truly prompted by their will to promote human rights or they require this as a smokescreen to cover up their on-going and past human rights abuses.
What draws our attention is the fact that such countries as Britain and Japan that took the lead in sponsoring the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" have become rich at the cost of the blood and sweat shed by the people of many countries which they invaded and colonized in the last century. It was none other than Britain which participated in the unjust Iraqi war, killing innocent civilians and reducing the sovereign state to debris even in this new century. It is again Britain that caused terrorist incidents to break out in the heart of its capital that killed citizens in cold blood. Violent racism, xenophobia, discrimination against minority nationalities and immigrants and police brutality arouse big apprehension even within Britain as well as among the international community.
As for Japan, it is a war criminal state unqualified to become a responsible member of the international community, to say nothing of its right to discuss human rights issues.
Japan has become the target of bitter resentment and denunciation of the international community because it has beautified its past history of aggression and justified visits to the "Yasukuni Shrine" by its politicians including the chief executive, far from apologizing for the hideous crimes it has committed against humanity even today.
Such being a hard fact, these countries, ignorant of how the world views them, have served the U.S. prompted by their inveterate servility towards America for years. This is a height of folly.
They seem to regard themselves as suzerain states even in the 21st century.
We are also compelled to point fingers at those countries that co-sponsored the resolution and supported it.
Those countries that got involved in the adoption of the resolution away from their principle at the U.S. instigation and under its pressure and manipulation should not expect any reward for such behavior.
The U.S. is by no means such honest country they deem to be.
Those countries that have infringed upon the interests of other countries in the foolish hope of meeting their immediate interests will have to deeply regret their behavior.
The resolution helped us to clearly realize the nature of the humanitarian aid advertised by the U.S. and the EU and convinced us once again that the DPRK took the just and timely measure not to receive humanitarian aid any longer.
The U.S. and its allies in the resolution accused the DPRK of taking such measure. This made it clear that they behaved so not out of their concern about human rights but to use aid as leverage for spying on what's really going on in the DPRK and lay a springboard from which to realize a "regime change" in it.
Recently we have decided to conclude international humanitarian aid as the food situation in the country has markedly improved. We considered it to be beneficial for lessening the burden of the international community.
Strange enough, such countries as the U.S. and Japan that had worked persistently to obstruct aid projects for the DPRK by raising political conditionalities when it was in the dire need of humanitarian aid are describing its measure as violation of human rights.
The prevailing situation compelled us to take action to bring the humanitarian aid to an end. The U.S., Britain and major EU forces that sponsored the resolution reduced even humanitarian aid organizations as well as the DPRK to victims.
The recent adoption of the resolution spearheaded by the U.S. and the EU convinced us once again that it is stark reality in the international arena dealing with human rights issues that any crime committed by the strong is considered as a good conduct but even a good conduct by the weak is regarded as an evil deed and that accordingly, if one is to protect human rights one should have state power among other things and powerful deterrent to defend its state power.
We regard the recent human rights resolution no more than barking of a dog at the moon.
The Korean people will hold the banner of Songun higher to defend the precious socialist system and bolster up the deterrent for self-defense a thousand times under any circumstance and situation.

Withdrawal of "Jaitun" Unit from Iraq Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- 30 lawmakers from ruling and opposition parties including Rim Jong In, legislator from the Uri Party, held a press conference at the building of the "National Assembly" on Nov. 16, demanding the withdrawal of the "Jaitun" unit from Iraq, according to the south Korean CBS. Speakers at the press conference demanded that a resolution urging the withdrawal of the unit be placed on the agenda of the session of the "National Assembly," contending that the unit may become a target of attack by resistance forces in case it takes charge of the duty to guard the UN office in Iraq, etc.

S. Korean Peasants on Indefinite Sit-in Strike

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Members of the "National Federation of Peasants Associations" are on an indefinite sit-in strike in tents before Myongdong Cathedral in Seoul in protest against the moves to railroad the sycophantic and traitorous "proposal on rice negotiations" through the "National Assembly", according to the south Korean KBS. They entered into the strike after piling up 1,000 straw bags of rice before Myongdong Cathedral at the dawn of Nov. 14. Accusing the authorities of working hard to railroad the proposal through the plenary session of the "National Assembly", they demanded the authorities withdraw it at once and take fundamental measures to save agriculture.
They declared that they would carry on their sit-in strike till the demands of the farmers have been met.

Japan's Harsh Discrimination against Koreans in Japan Accused

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The Japanese reactionaries are becoming evermore harsh in their discrimination against Koreans and other foreigners in Japan. This is deeply rooted in their racism and national chauvinism. Perhaps Japan is the only country in the world where the policy of bitterly hating and insulting other nations is being openly pursued and terrorism, violence and other vices against foreigners in Japan are being openly perpetrated at the tacit connivance of the authorities. Rodong Sinmun Monday observes this in a signed commentary.
    It goes on:
The Japanese imperialists invaded Asian countries including Korea, bringing unspeakable misfortune and pain to them in the past. The Asian people still cannot repress their resentment at these crimes of Japan.
In the period of their military occupation of Korea that lasted for more than four decades from early in the 20th century the Japanese imperialists deprived the Koreans of their right to preserve their peculiar national culture and tradition and go by their own names and prohibited them from using their mother tongue. At least 8.4 million Koreans were forcibly taken and kidnapped by the Japanese imperialists for slave labor and more than one million of them were killed by them. At least 200,000 Korean women were forced to serve as shameful "comfort women" for the imperial Japanese army. The Japanese reactionaries have maltreated the Koreans in Japan for many decades, imposing mental and physical pain upon them, instead of admitting the crimes perpetrated by the Japanese imperialists and honestly apologizing and compensating for them.
The persecution, discrimination, murder and other crimes against Koreans in Japan can never be pardoned as they are the repetition of the criminal plots of the Japanese imperialists to exterminate the Korean nation in the past.
If Japan feels guilty of the Japanese imperialists' past harsh maltreatment, discrimination and murder of Koreans even a bit, they should stop rejecting and hating Koreans and other foreigners in Japan and imposing mental and physical pain upon them.

Anti-North Smear Campaign of S. Korean Right-Wing Conservative Organizations under Fire

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Central Committee of the Korean Christian Federation (KCF) issued a statement on Nov. 20 assailing the "General Federation of Christians of Korea" (GFCK) and other right-wing conservative organizations for kicking up an anti-DPRK racket over its "human rights issue" in collusion with the "Grand National Party" at the instigation of the U.S. The statement branded the plan of the GFCK to stage so-called "prayer meeting" and "demonstration" at a time when the ultra-right conservative forces of the U.S. and south Korea are groundlessly pulling up the north over its "human rights issue" in addition to the "nuclear issue" of the DPRK as a traitorous anti-reunification move.
The KCF and all the Christians in the north bitterly condemn the GFCK and other right-wing conservative forces for raising a hue and cry over the non-existent "the human rights issue" in the north, keeping mum about the U.S. crude violation of human rights in south Korea and various other parts of the world, the statement noted, and continued:
The GFCK should not resort to the disturbing "prayer meeting" and "demonstration" intended to incite division and confrontation among fellow countrymen and social discord and dispute and deter the inter-Korean relations from favorably developing but return to its original Christian stance and remain true to the will of the Lord for love, reconciliation, peace and harmony.

S. Korean Traitors' Pro-Japanese Remarks under Fire

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Undisguised pro-Japanese traitorous remarks heard from south Korea are nothing but shameful deeds of making eyes at the rapidly emerging ultra-right forces of Japan in utter disregard of the national dignity and soul and a hideous treacherous act of doing harm to the dignity and the interests of the nation, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in a signed commentary. It is none other than the Grand National Party of south Korea that is directly responsible for such pro-Japanese treachery and it is the root cause of the crimes, the commentary says, and goes on:
The GNP group is getting frantic with its sycophantic treacherous acts in a bid to return to the power in which it had stayed for several terms despite the fact that national independence and cooperation have become the trend of the times.
To cite just a few examples, it is acting a mouthpiece for the U.S. while working hard to adopt a "law on the human rights issue in the north " when it is engrossed in the human rights offensive against the DPRK in a bid to put pressure upon it over its nuclear issue.
The south Koreans' struggle to force Japan to pay for its disgraceful past has proved unsuccessful due to such traitorous acts of the GNP keen on flunkeyism and treachery and it is under its backing that traitors are at large while encouraging the Japanese reactionaries in their moves for reinvasion. The GNP group is a group of flunkeys and traitors who can put the five traitors in 1905 into the shade.
Just as poisonous herbs should be rooted out in time, it is necessary to throw overboard the GNP, stronghold of flunkeyism and treachery, in order to achieve independence and progress of the south Korean society and reunify the country.

Anti-U.S., Anti-War Struggle Staged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A strong anti-U.S. action was reportedly staged in Kyongju, North Kyongsang Province, on Nov. 17. Members of the All-People Measure Committee for Checking the Expansion of the U.S. Military Base in Phyongthaek of south Korea, the All Together Organization, the People's Solidarity of south Korea, the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, the south Korean Council of Youth Organizations and other civic and social, youth and students organizations held a meeting condemning Bush at the plaza of Kyongju Railway Station. Speakers at the meeting said that the talks between the chief executives of south Korea and the U.S. in Kyongju were aimed at escalating the war and poverty and opening the agricultural market of south Korea to the U.S.
All south Koreans including the residents in Phyongthaek are strongly opposed to the expansion of the U.S. military base designed to threaten peace on the Korean Peninsula and trample down upon the Koreans' right to existence, they stressed.
The meeting was followed by a demonstration.
Earlier, the All-People Measure Committee for Checking the Expansion the U.S. Military Base in Phyongthaek of south Korea held a press conference at which it declared: "We do not want to see the U.S. expansion of its military base in Phyongthaek under the pretext of strategic flexibility and the conversion of Phyongthaek into its war base."
A protest message to the chief executives of the U.S. and south Korea was read out at the conference.

Groundless Wiretapping Charges against Former S. Korean Intelligence Service Chiefs Assailed

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland issued a statement Sunday accusing the south Korean prosecution authorities of staging a farce of detaining Rim Tong Won and Sin Gon, former chiefs of the Intelligence Service in the period of the Kim Dae Jung regime, on charges of "illegal wiretapping" after claiming that figures of various strata were wiretapped by the service in that period. Illegal wiretapping in south Korea has its origin in the successive military fascist regimes which ruthlessly suppressed democratic figures, openly talking about "information policy" and the clan of the Grand National Party which has conducted illegal wiretapping by setting up even a mechanism called "Mirim team" that specialized in wiretapping operations.
The case is another political coup staged by the GNP group at the U.S. instigation under a carefully prearranged sinister plan to disrupt and weaken the pro-reunification progressive and reformist forces in the June 15 era and bury key figures who contributed to the adoption of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
Still fresh in the memory of the Korean nation is the disgraceful cases in which the present south Korean government agreed to the passage of the traitorous "law on special investigation" after being taken in by the plots of the U.S. and the GNP to downplay the significance of the historic Pyongyang summit since its emergence and hamstring the efforts for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and permitted the trial and punishment of several persons who contributed to the adoption of the joint declaration.
The Korean nation can never allow such tragedy to repeat itself now that a new turning point is being brought about in the efforts to implement the joint declaration.
Law enforcement is guaranteed by politics and it is not law but politics that is accountable for the attack and suppression of progressive and reformist forces.
The progressive and reformist forces in south Korea, those pro-reunification forces in the June 15 era, should face up to the reality and maintain vigilance against the pro-U.S. conservative forces' moves to split and alienate the Koreans. They should turn out in a dynamic struggle against the GNP, a struggle to put an end to the fascist prosecution, well aware that genuine democratization of the south Korean society can never come true, to say nothing of national reunification, as long as the GNP and other ultra-right conservative forces remain in south Korea.

Anti-North Smear Campaign of S. Korean Ultra- Right Conservative Forces Assailed

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Korean Council of Religionists issued a statement on Monday assailing the south Korean ultra-right conservative forces for kicking up a frantic anti-north racket over its "human rights issue". The statement termed this part of the cunning plots of the U.S. to increase its pressure upon the DPRK over its "human rights issue," while raising a hue and cry over its "nuclear issue" and threatening tougher economic sanctions, deter the inter-Korean relations from favorably improving in the June 15 era and give the ultra-right conservative forces a chance to come to power through the next "presidential election" at any cost. The statement branded the noisy smear campaign launched by the "General Federation of Christians of Korea" (GFCK) and other ultra-right conservative organizations against the north over its "human rights issue" as an intolerable traitorous action to chill the enthusiasm of the fellow countrymen for reunification and pursue division and confrontation among them, pursuant to the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK. Accusing the pseudo religionists including the GFCK of taking the lead in kicking up the frantic anti-north racket over "its human rights issue" away from their original stand of religionists advocating love, reconciliation, peace and harmony, the statement declared the nation would never pardon them but force them to pay for their crimes generation after generation.
The Korean Council of Religionists expresses the expectation that the religious communities in south Korea and other parts of the world that stand for love, justice and peace would properly see through the true nature of the dastardly anti-north campaign launched by pro-American conservative forces over "its human rights issue" and dynamically join in the righteous actions to foil it, the statement noted.

Kim Jong Il's Famous Work Posted on Internet Website in U.S.

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il's famous work "On Correctly Understanding the Originality of Kimilsungism" was posted on the Internet website of the Communist Party of the United States of America (Juche) on Nov. 7.

Quarantine Intensified in Border and Other Terminals

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Quarantine has been intensified at the border and other terminals of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in an effort to prevent bird flu. The avian flu has been breaking out in various parts of Asia, Europe, America and rest of the world, causing deep apprehensions among people. In connection with this, the DPRK government calls for further enhancing the responsibility and role of the State Veterinary and Anti-epizootic Emergency Commission and other related units.
What is most important in this campaign is to strictly check the quality of goods.
Kim Hyong Chol, chairman of the Korean Committee for the Check and Quarantine of Exported and Imported Commodity, told KCNA that the port, airport and border quarantine centers have strengthened their work.
The persons and goods coming from or via the plague areas and countries, he added, are specially dealt with. As the disease has an incubation period, they are informed to relevant units even after their passing through the terminals.
Those with a slightest symptom of the disease are put in quarantine.
And the importation of poultry goods from the plague regions and countries is strictly banned.
The poultry goods coming from the other countries are also submitted to strict and scientific check.
The containers, vessels, trucks and planes, which transported such goods, are sterilized thoroughly.
Meanwhile, activities have been conducted to boost the responsibility, role and working-level of the officials concerned. A technical and practical training course on the importance of anti-bird flu campaign, vehicles of its infection, its severe damage to people and fowls, symptoms of the disease and others was organized again in November after March.

Horizontal Jib Tower Crane Made in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Elevator Factory has recently succeeded in manufacturing a horizontal jib tower crane in a few months. The Pyongyang University of Construction and Building Materials Production made its design on a high scientific and technical level as required by the IT era.
A research team sent to the factory developed a program on latest structure analysis and its application and worked out an optimized design, which could ensure safety and reliability of all structures of the crane and raise its working efficiency.
In cooperation with scientists in the Pyongyang Elevator Designing Institute, it designed rationally each structure of the crane according to the result of mock test.
Thus the design of the crane suitable to the actual conditions of the country was completed in a matter of one month.
The team developed another application program to solve difficult scientific and technical problems arising in designing and assembling.

Fishery Exhibition Held

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A national exhibition of inventions and new technologies was held in the field of fisheries of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea some time ago. On display there were more than 100 kinds of inventions and improved technologies presented by scientists, technicians and working people in the field. Conspicuous was the fish shoal predicting and production commanding system, which makes it possible to correctly detect, analyse and predict fish shoals and command production in a comprehensive way.
The computer programs on supervising and managing offshore farms, on designing fishing tackle and forecasting a shoal of squid and other exhibits showed the developing IT in the fishing industry.
The technique of artificial proliferation of salmon invented and introduced by scientists in the East Sea Fishery Research Institute under the Academy of Fishery Science opened a new prospect for catching a large amount of salmon. It is based on the principle that the salmon fry released in rivers comes back to the rivers some years after.
Among the exhibits were new fishing and offshore farming methods, research achievements made in industrialization and comprehensive mechanization of fish processing and exhibits solving scientific and technical problems arising in repairing and improving fishing boats.
The exhibition marked an important occasion in the rapid development of the fishery science and technique of the country.

Greetings to President of Lebanon

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Monday sent a message of greetings to Emile Lahoud, president of Lebanon, on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the independence of Lebanon. Extending warm felicitations to the president and people of Lebanon, Kim Yong Nam wished the president success in his responsible work for the social and political stability of the country and the well-being of the people.

Greetings to Lebanese Prime Minister

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Premier of the DPRK Cabinet Pak Pong Ju sent a message of greetings to Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Sanyora on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the independence of its country. Extending warm congratulations to him, the Lebanese government and people on this occasion, the message wished him greater success in their work for the stability and prosperity of the country.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Paek Nam Sun sent a similar message to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants Fouzi Salloukh.

KCNA Refutes U.S. Talk about "Freedom" and "Democracy"

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The U.S. chief executive in a recent lecture in Kyoto told rubbish about the Asian version of the "theory of spread of American-style liberal democracy". He slandered the DPRK again by classifying Asian countries and regions into democratic countries, countries in the process of heading for freedom and totalitarian states by American standards.
He let loose invectives, terming the DPRK a dark country, touring the U.S. air force base in Osan, south Korea.
We do not feel it necessary to recall that the U.S. admonition for "freedom" and "democracy" is to invent pretexts for violating sovereignty of other countries and nations and establishing its unchallenged domination over the world.
What matters here is that the U.S. chief executive's oft-repeated talk about "freedom" and "democracy" is a revelation of its fascist hysteria. As universally known, the U.S. is the world's worst human rights abuser as it has cruelly trampled down upon other countries' freedom and democracy. The bloody "anti-terrorism war" which the U.S. declared as "a worldwide ideological war" and "war against ideology" is an example vividly proving the fascist tyranny of violating the freedom of thinking and people's right to existence.
Anyone advocating peace against war is branded as "betrayer" whether he or she is lawmaker or singer and the president personally has taken action to suppress the freedom of press. This whirlwind of bellicose "patriotism" is now cutting across the American society.
Against this backdrop, the "war-like president" stayed in power despite the people's mindset desiring justice and conscience. He took the lead in advocating state-sponsored terrorism under the signboard of "color revolution" and openly defended murderous torture in prisons reminiscent of the Oswiecim concentration camp. This is a true picture of the "democratic U.S." "Freedom" advocated by the U.S. is, in a nutshell, freedom to perpetrate aggression and war, murder and robbery.
History proves that the ringleaders of fascism that stood stern trials for their crimes against humanity advocated "freedom" and "democracy" more noisily than any others.
The U.S. chief executive is gravely mistaken if he thinks such poor farce can help him get rid of the dire predicament in which he is now finding himself after coming to power, as evidenced by the increasing death toll of U.S. forces in Iraq and the "Leakgate Incident".
This will only more glaringly reveal his true colors as a wicked man whom the world compares to fascist fanatic Hitler.
Explicitly speaking, the U.S. rulers' sinister scenario of "American style democratic revolution" now in the making behind the scene of the DPRK-U.S. dialogue heightens the vigilance of the DPRK.
The basic spirit of the joint statement adopted at the six-party talks which the U.S. committed itself to implement calls for mutual respect and peaceful co-existence.
The U.S. chief executive should clearly understand that his reckless remarks would entail adverse consequences in the process for denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.
