Uzbek President on Relations with DPRK

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- The relations between the two countries are developing in various fields and Uzbekistan will make positive efforts to boost the friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK. Uzbek President Islam Abduganiyevich Karimov said this when receiving credentials from DPRK Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ri Tong Phal on Nov.1. The leadership of the DPRK makes big efforts for the well-being of the people, he said, and pointed out:
We highly appreciate the consistent principle of the leadership of Korea headed by leader Kim Jong Il.
We welcome and will support the efforts of the Korean people to defend the sovereignty and ensure peace and security on the Korean Peninsula. We hold that the Koreans should solve the internal affairs of the nation by themselves without interference of foreign forces.

Documentary "Inerasable Crimes of Japan" Produced

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- The Korean Documentary and Scientific Film Studio produced a documentary film "Inerasable Crimes of Japan". The film indicts the Japanese imperialists for their one hundred-year crime of thrice-cursed aggression and plunder of Korea with historic data and clearly manifests the firm will and faith of the Korean army and people to surely settle accounts with the Japanese reactionaries who are rushing toward the road of dangerous political and military adventure, not repenting of the past crimes even in the new century.
It brings to light the hideous crimes unprecedented in human history committed by the Japanese imperialists who faked up the "Ulsa Five-point Treaty" in 1905 to deprive Korea of its sovereign rights, established the most barbarous military police system right after their military occupation of Korea and brutally massacred Koreans to obliterate their national identity and destroy and plunder the time-honored heritage of their national culture. It condemns the Japanese reactionaries for their impudent moves to cover up their past crimes with the revision of history textbook, far from apologizing and compensating for the past crimes.
The high-ranking politicians of Japan are continuing to visit the "Yasukuni Shrine" despite the strong denunciation of the world and taking the road of overseas expansion, staking a claim to the Tok Islet, an inalienable territory of Korea. Their criminal acts compel the Korean people to harden their will to settle accounts with the Japanese reactionaries to the last.
The film stresses that Korean army and people vigorously advancing under the great Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il will settle accounts with Japan for the crimes of 100 years with hatred and wrath against the Japanese imperialists, the sworn enemy sharpening a dagger for a comeback to Korea.

DPRK Efforts for Prevention of Bird Flu

All the officials and the working people across the country including those of the Cabinet Secretariat, ministries and national institutions and the field of the veterinary and anti-epizootic and public health have turned out as one in the prevention of bird flu.
They are explaining measures for preventing bird flu in various forms and methods to conduct a mass movement.     All chicken farms are carrying emergency veterinary work, stopping visitors from entering, sterilizing coops and vehicles and establishing veterinary checkup system for poultry and eggs.
The National Hygienic Prevention Centre and the provincial hygienic prevention centres in close contact with the National Emergency Veterinary and Anti-Epizootic Committee have organized epidemiological information sections concerning bird flu and sanitation propaganda sections and are informing relevant units of global situation, danger and prevention methods.

Japan Urged to Bear Responsibility for Sexual Slavery

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Kyunghyang Daily News on Oct. 30 editorially urged the Japanese government to bear full responsibility for the past sexual slavery. The editorial recalled the fact that the Amnesty International in a report on Oct. 28 said that the system of "comfort women" is a system of sexual slavery organized by the Japanese government and a plain criminal act of violating the international law and recommended the Japanese government and Diet to institute a law and take state measures to make a due compensation to the victims.
The editorial charged that the Japanese government is continuously evading apology and compensation, asserting that its past crimes such as the issue of "comfort women" were completely settled with the conclusion of the south Korea-Japan "agreement" in 1965.
It was disclosed in the recently declassified diplomatic documents that the issue of "comfort women" for the Imperial Japanese Army had not been included in the objects of the "agreement", the editorial said, urging the Japanese government to lend an ear to the recommendation of the Amnesty International though belatedly.

Pullback of "Jaitun" Unit Urged

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- The People's Action for Opposing Dispatch of Troops to Iraq in south Korea reportedly called a press conference on Nov. 2 to urge the authorities to stop the plan for extending the dispatch of troops to Iraq and withdraw the "Jaitun" unit. Ri Kyu Jae, chairman of the South Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification, addressing the press conference, said that cooperation with the U.S. in its Iraqi war of aggression obtained only the resistance of Arabians and the threat of terrorism and urged the authorities to stop planning to extend the troop dispatch contrary to the interests of the people and withdraw the unit from Iraq.
At the press conference an open letter to the south Korean authorities was read out.
The letter demanded that the authorities halt news blackout, and hide and distortion of information and open to the public the true data. It urged the National Assembly to hold a people's debate on the pullback of the "Jaitun" unit.

Japan's Liquidation of Its Past Urged

Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- We strongly urge Japan to liquidate its past and sincerely apologize to the Korean nation on the occasion of the lapse of 76 year after the Kwangju Students' Incident and the 100th anniversary of the "Ulsa Five-Point Treaty". The South Korean Federation of University Students for the 21st Century reportedly said this in a statement issued on Nov. 3, 76 years after the Kwangju Students' Incident. The November 3 Kwangju Students' Incident happened as Japanese students made fun of a Korean girl student in a train in 1929, the statement said, adding: The incident was an eruption of the firm will of the Korean students to achieve the sovereignty of the Korean nation against the foreign forces.
It charged that Japan is continuing such unreasonable actions against history as evidenced by absurd remarks about Tok Islet, its distortion of history, revision of the "peace constitution" and visits to the "Yasukuni Shrine", instead of apologizing and compensating for exerting immeasurable misfortunes and pains upon the Korean nation.
If Japan still shamelessly behaves without liquidation of its past it will face the strong protest of the whole Korean nation, the statement stressed.

Rodong Sinmun on Japan's Plot for Overseas Expansion

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article castigates the Japanese reactionaries for persistently scheming to realize their ambition for overseas expansion. The Japanese reactionaries are seeking to keep the Self-Defence Forces stationed overseas for a long time, the article says, and goes on: A decision on postponing the term of the "law on special measures against terrorism" one year again was adopted at the meeting of the House of Councillors of the Diet and thus the term of the law has been extended to 5 years.
The law was framed up to legitimately guarantee the move to realize the ambition for overseas expansion with the backing of the U.S. What draws attention in the move is that Japan is planning to construct new spacecraft launching grounds in other countries.
Japan has turned its military strategy into an offensive one for overseas aggression. The overseas aggression of the Japanese reactionaries is a matter of time.
The first target of their aggression is the DPRK. It is for their reinvasion of Korea that they are intensifying political, diplomatic, economic and military pressure offensives upon the DPRK, persistently talking about its "missile and nuclear issue" and "abduction issue".
If the Japanese reactionaries, hell-bent on overseas expansion, dare to make a preemptive attack on the DPRK, the Korean people will mercilessly annihilate the aggressors to retaliate hundred and thousand times and give vent to their pent-up grudge against the sworn enemies.

Rodong Sinmun Slams GNP's "Human Rights" Racket

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The clan of the Grand National Party of south Korea are now working with bloodshot eyes to have the so-called " resolution on human rights issue in north Korea" adopted at a session of the UN General Assembly slated to take place next month. This reminds one of a flock of crows that have smelt human blood. Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary:
They are grumbling that the authorities are "not concerned about the rights of compatriots in the north" while "attaching importance to the rights of some advocates of the theory of reunifying Korea through the communization of south Korea" and going busy with "promoting four bills on north Korean human rights" and preparing "a draft resolution of the National Assembly urging the participation of the government in the moves to have the resolution on human rights issue in north Korea adopted at the UN general assembly".
The GNP had better reexamine its way of thinking before talking about someone's "human rights".
The GNP is, indeed, a group of fascist tyrants and traitors as it has worked overtly and covertly to reduce the June 15 joint declaration to a dead document and hamstring the inter-Korean cooperation and has desperately worked to punish those who call for achieving national reunification through an alliance with the north .
The GNP clan are raising a hue and cry over other's non-existent "human rights issue", keeping mum about the sufferings and misfortune the south Koreans have undergone due to the ceaseless crimes committed by U.S. soldiers in south Korea. This proves that they are forsaken by the nation. The desperate efforts made by the pro-American GNP gentry to do harm to their compatriots, while siding with the U.S. in its "human rights" offensive, prompted by their disposition of serving America, are little short of digging their own graves.

Visits

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- A DPRK delegation headed by Vice-Minister of Electricity and Coal Industries Sin Yong Song who is managing director of the Council of the Korea-China Hydroelectric Power Company left here today to participate in its 57th meeting to be held in China. On the same day a delegation of the Russian Foreign Ministry led by Vice-Minister Aleksandr Alekseyev, a delegation of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China headed by Deputy Director Yu Yunyao and President of the Prensa Latina News Agency of Cuba Frank Gonzalez Garcia and his party arrived here.

GI's Crime of Killing South Korean Woman Blasted

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the North Headquarters of the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth behind the GIs' Crimes in a statement on Nov. 5 branded the crime of the U.S. imperialist aggression troops in south Korea who cruelly ran over a south Korean woman passerby to death by a truck in Tongduchon, Kyonggi Province in June last as the second Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son incident and vehemently denounced it in the name of the whole Korean nation. It recalled that when GIs ruthlessly killed two schoolgirls walking on the road by an armored car in broad daylight three years ago, the U.S. forces covered the criminals for five months in defiance of the demand of the south Korean people for transferring them to the side of victims before staging a trial by themselves and acquitting them and sent them to the mainland.
The U.S. imperialist aggressor troops openly covered the recent brutal atrocity and hid away the criminal without any trial or punishment, thus revealing once again the arrogance of the occupiers acting a dominator over south Korea, an extraterritorial entity.
This shows that the United States ignores the south Korean people and maltreats them, considering them to be colonial slaves.
The recent incident is a ruthless infringement upon justice and conscience and an unpardonable insult on the dignity of the Korean nation, which sparks off the towering indignation of the whole nation.
As long as the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops remain stationed in south Korea, the south Korean people will not get rid of misfortunes and disgrace and the whole nation cannot evade casualties and holocaust.

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected the new Duck Farm No. 115 built by servicepersons of the KPA. The farm covering a total plottage of more than 50,000 square meters has been equipped with the latest facilities under a far-reaching plan of Kim Jong Il to supply more meat and eggs to the people.
He mounted an observation platform to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the farm. Going round the exterior and interior of the farm, he learned in detail about its construction and expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the soldier-builders have successfully built it in a short span of time. Thanks to the devoted efforts of the servicepersons of the KPA there has appeared one more creation on this land recorded with miracles and exploits, an edifice in the era of Songun that will be handed down to posterity, he said, extending high appreciation and deep thanks for the feats they have performed by working hard with loyalty for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.
Noting that the duck farm built in the best place as required by the new century has attained the highest level in the quality of structure ranging from its designing to its construction to win even the admiration of posterity, he stressed that this praiseworthy creation is the shining fruition of noble patriotism displayed by the servicepersons in the course of discharging their mission as defenders of the country and servants of the people.
He specified tasks to be fulfilled to manage and operate the farm.
Modern duck, chicken and cattle farms like this farm have sprung up or are under construction in various parts of the country to materialize the WPK's intention to supply a sufficient amount of meat and eggs to the people, he noted, underscoring the need to steadily increase the production in the existing stock-breeding bases by putting the breeding and management on a scientific and technological basis and successfully complete those farms under construction as creations of eternal value so that a rich and powerful socialist country might be handed down to posterity.
He called for placing the production processes on all the farms on a scientific and modern basis and actively developing and raising the domestic animals of good stock which grow fast and quickly gain in weight.
It is necessary to consolidate the fodder bases and boost the harvest there in order to put the production of meat and eggs on a normal footing, he said, calling upon all domains and units to wage a vigorous mass movement to develop stock-breeding in a big way so as to provide the people with a more bountiful and highly civilized life.
He was accompanied by KPA Generals Ri Myong Su, Hyon Chol Hae and Pak Jae Gyong and Ri Jae Il, first vice department director of the C.C., the WPK, and Hwang Pyong So, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK.

Rodong Sinmun denuncia alboroto de "DDHH" del "partido Hannara"

   @Pyongyang, 5 de noviembre (ATCC) -- En estos dias los compinches del "partido Hannara" del Sur de Corea hacen freneticos esfuerzos por lograr la aprobacion de "proyecto de resolucion de los derechos humanos del Norte de Corea" en la Asamblea General de la ONU que tendra lugar el mes que viene, lo cual se asemeja a un cuervo husmeando la sangre. Asi senala el diario Rodong Sinmun en un comentario individua l del dia 5 y continua;
