Japanfs Militarist Hysteria under Fire

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- Japan termed the DPRK and China gthreatening statesh although it is chiefly responsible for threatening peace and stability in Northeast Asia. This is sheer sophism that can be made only by crafty and shameless ones, observes Minju Joson Friday in a signed commentary. What the Japan Defense Agency claimed in its defence white paper for 2005 is nothing but sheer lies grossly falsifying truth, the commentary says, and goes on: Japan dubbed the DPRK and China gthreatening statesh in a bid to invent pretexts for justifying their moves to revive militarism, emerge a military power and realize overseas expansion now being frantically stepped up under the U.S. patronage. The moves for reinvasion which the Japanese reactionaries are escalating with their undisguised exceptional zeal for overseas expansion are arousing serious apprehension among members of the international community as they are timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Japanese imperialist's defeat.
In the white paper Japan painted the DPRK as "a factor of grave instability" and declared Tok Islet, an inalienable part of the territory of Korea, as "a disputed island". This is a blatant provocative act prompted by a sinister intention to put the whole of Korea under its control.
The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to awake from a day-dream. If they opt for reinvasion of Korea, seized by militarist zeal for reinvasion, they will only suffer a defeat much more miserable than what they did 60 years ago. They should face up to the reality and behave with discretion.

KCNA Blasts Japan's "Defense White Paper for 2005"

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Japan Defense Agency in its recent "defense white paper for 2005" listed the DPRK and China as "states threatening Japan." Moreover, it described Tok Islet, an inalienable part of Korea's territory, as a "disputed area." It is the keynote of the white paper to take new military steps for protecting the security of Japan from "the threats of nukes and ballistic missiles" from the DPRK and "the increasing military threat" from China.
This is a very dangerous and brazen-faced subterfuge to justify Japan's moves to revive militarism and emerge a military power and realize its overseas expansion under the pretext of "military threats" from the DPRK and China.
The DPRK clarified its stand more than once that its self-defensive armed forces will in no way be a threat to Japan unless the latter perpetrates hostile acts against it. Japan's oft-repeated "nuclear and missile threat from north Korea" is a fabrication made by the Japanese reactionaries on the basis of a political calculation from A to Z. The situation is growing very tense on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia due to Japan's moves to emerge a military power and realize overseas expansion, backed by the United States.
Japan has tightened its military alliance with the U.S. and pushed ahead with arms build-up plan, thus rapidly increasing its military capability in foreign countries. It has paid primary attention to legalizing the war actions of the Japan Self-Defense Forces (SDF) in a bid to realize its ambition for establishing the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".
The "military threat" from the DPRK and China is cited by Tokyo as the only pretext for working hard to achieve this goal.
The Japanese reactionaries are keen to convince the international community that the SDF's military actions are for "defense" in principle.
It is under this pretext that Japan is going ahead with the preparations for military reinvasion openly with increased zeal.
It is pushing forward its long-range missile program aimed at preemptive assault under the pretext of "neutralizing the ballistic missile plan" of the DPRK and keen to introduce the missile defense system which calls for putting the DPRK and China and other parts of Asia within its range of attack.
The Japanese reactionaries are deliberately sparking a territorial dispute, asserting that Tok Islet, an inalienable part of Korea's territory, is a "disputed area." This is a deliberate and premeditated move to strain the situation in the region and create an environment favorable for realizing their ambition for emerging a military power and launching reinvasion.
In order to achieve true reconciliation and peace in Northeast Asia free from confrontation and distrust, it is necessary to force Japan to drop its bad habit of always sacrificing others to meet its own interests.
This is the trend of the times.

Conversion of Revolutionary Ranks into Highly-Efficient Ones Called for

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- It is a sure guarantee for strengthening the driving force for the revolution to turn the revolutionary ranks highly-efficient with the People's Army as a model as required by the Songun era, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article. Turning the revolutionary ranks highly-efficient as required by the Songun era means training all members of the society into ranks of loyalists and invincible revolutionary ranks of Songun that have personified the intense loyalty to the headquarters of the revolution, revolutionary spirit and organization, sense of discipline and unity and fighting spirit inherent in the People's Army, the article says, and goes on:
Turning the revolutionary ranks highly-efficient on the pattern of the army is an important work for preparing all members of the society as fighters devotedly defending the headquarters of the revolution. The spirit of devotedly defending the headquarters of the revolution now being fully displayed by the servicepersons has become an ideological and moral basis of the unity and cohesion of the revolutionary ranks in the DPRK.
The bulwark devotedly safeguarding the leader where the army and the people have achieved perfect unity in thinking, fighting spirit, feelings and emotion and which has grown invulnerable guided by the noblest spirit of the times represents a mighty driving force of our revolution and the most powerful weapon that have been secured in the course of turning the revolutionary ranks highly-efficient.
The above-mentioned work is, at the same time, an important work to achieve a decisive victory in the anti-imperialist class struggle. One who learns from the anti-U.S. working class stand and the revolutionary awareness of the army and lives and struggles the way it does is an independent guard soldier and staunch revolutionary required by the present times.
It is an honorable task to work fresh miracles and innovations in building a great prosperous powerful nation. The work inspires all the members of the society to learn from the ideology and view point, way of thinking, the fighting spirit and the work style of the army and thus bring about an uninterrupted surge in the revolutionary struggle and construction.

In order to add seasoning to them, they put spices such as garlic, pepper, ginger and black pepper into the pot.
The fermented bean curd contains various kinds of vitamins 15 percent more than the ordinary bean curd and 18 kinds of amino acid 8.4 times those of the latter. It, strong in deoxidation, is very efficacious for preventing aging and treating circulation disorders.
    The longer, the better.
