CPRF Secretariat Castigates U.S. for Bringing Fighter Bombers into@S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The U.S. has introduced F-117 Stealth fighter bombers into south Korea while putting spurs to the increase of the combat power of its forces present in south Korea allegedly to ensure the qualitative superiority of the deterrent force against the DPRK. This is a dangerous move for a war seriously threatening peace and security on the Korean peninsula as it is a grave military step to make a preemptive attack on the DPRK. The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland (CPRF) said this in information bulletin No.875 issued Thursday with regard to a recent official announcement of the south Korean Ministry of Defense on the arrival of more than 10 F-117 Stealth fighter bombers of the U.S. Air Force at a U.S. air base in south Korea for increasing field operation capability.
For the U.S. to get over-heated in arms buildup right after the military talks between the north and the south of Korea and the third round of the six-party talks proves that the Bush administration's talk about peace is no more than a veil to cover up its aggressive nature, the bulletin said, and went on: This only brings us constantly exposed to U.S. threat once again to the awareness that we should have no illusions about the U.S.
If the U.S. arms buildup and arbitrariness are allowed in south Korea, our nation will face nothing but a war. The south Korean people of all strata should wage a more daring anti-U.S. struggle to resolutely smash the adventurous arms buildup moves of the U.S. war hawks that are bringing dark clouds of a nuclear war over the territory of Korea and drive the U.S. imperialist aggression troops, the very source of aggression and war, out of south Korea.

U.S. Design to Dominate World with Nukes Ridiculed

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- It is a daydream for the U.S. bellicose forces to attempt to stifle the DPRK and dominate the world with nuclear weapons and this will only lead to self-destruction, warns Rodong Sinmun Friday in a signed article. Referring to the fact that the U.S. is going ahead with its nuclear tests and the modernization of nuclear weapons, the article goes on:
The U.S. ruling quarters are seized with the nuke-almighty doctrine that they can dominate the world with nuclear weapons as they please. That is why they are frantically pushing forward nuclear tests and the modernization of nuclear weapons.
The U.S. has thus become the world's biggest nuclear weapons state and a country posing the greatest nuclear danger to the people. It has stockpiled at least 20,000 nuclear weapons at present.
The U.S. warlike forces are in the process of producing smaller nukes.
These are aimed at making limited strikes at individual targets, underground structures and very limited areas. This is a very dangerous and wicked design to freely use nuclear weapons like conventional weapons in wars of aggression to be ignited by the U.S. in the future.
"Proliferation security initiative" proposed by the Bush administration is also aimed to go unchallenged in nukes and control the world as it pleases with its absolute nuclear edge. This is, in essence, designed to seek the nuclear monopoly and prevent other countries from having access to nuclear weapons so that they may not challenge the U.S. militarily.
Those countries the U.S. calls "rogue states or dangerous states" are strong in their stand for independence against imperialism. The U.S bellicose forces made those countries targets of their "anti-terrorism war."
In other words, they are keen to make those anti-imperialist and independent countries victims of their "strategy for preemptive attack."
The DPRK is the primary target of their nuclear attack. The Korean People's Army and the people of the DPRK will further increase the country's defence capability for self-defense under the banner of Songun to cope with the evermore undisguised moves of the U.S. for a nuclear war.

Reception Hosted by DPRK Government

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government hosted a reception at the People's Palace of Culture Thursday in connection with the holding of the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Taean Friendship Glass Factory, a donation to the DPRK from the government of the People's Republic of China. Present there on invitation were the Chinese government economic and trade delegation led by Chen Jian, assistant to the minister of Commerce of China, Chinese Ambassador e.p. to the DPRK Wu Donghe, staff members of the Chinese embassy, Deng Fuquan, general manager of the Yaohua Glass General Company of China, and other Chinese guests.
Present there were Pak Pong Ju, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Kim Kwang Rin, chairman of the State Planning Commission, and officials concerned.
Jo Yun Hui, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industries, in his speech recalled the grand holding of the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the glass factory, which would stand as a symbol of the DPRK-China friendship. The ceremony was one more demonstration of the vitality of the DPRK-China friendship growing strong century after century, he added.
The Chinese government's decision to donate the modern glass factory to the DPRK is a clear proof that China's new collective leadership attaches great importance to the China-DPRK friendship, he said, and continued:
The glass factory will be built successfully under the deep care of the leaders of the two countries and amid the expectation of the two peoples.
The Korean people will as ever join hands with the Chinese comrades and strive to steadily open a new phase in the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations.
Chen Jian in his speech said that the Sino-DPRK friendship provided by the leaders of the old generation has steadily grown strong under the deep care of the leaders of the two countries and thanks to the common efforts of the two peoples for over 50 years, noting that China and the DPRK share the same mountain and river and has long-standing friendship.
Recalling that Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples' Congress, visited the DPRK in October last year, he said that Kim Jong Il's China visit in April this year was successful.
The purpose of the DPRK visit paid by the delegation is to promote the comprehensive development of the cooperative relations in economy and trade between China and the DPRK, he noted.
He expressed his expectation that the glass factory would play an important role in the DPRK's economy and stand as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between China and the DPRK.
He said he was pleased to learn that the Korean people have overcome all sorts of difficulties in the spirit of self-reliance and fortitude and thus achieved great success in socialist construction under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Il.
He expressed belief that the economic cooperation between China and the DPRK would become more brisk and the traditional Sino-DPRK friendship make a new greater progress under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with Hu Jintao as general secretary and the Workers' Party of Korea with Kim Jong Il as general secretary.

Military Attaches Corps Visits Sinchon Museum

Sinchon, July 1 (KCNA) -- The military attaches corps here visited the Sinchon Museum on Thursday on the occasion of "June 25, the Day of Struggle against the U.S. Imperialists." The military attaches were briefed on the fact that the U.S. imperialist aggressors when they invaded Sinchon during the strategic temporary retreat of the Korean People's Army in the Fatherland Liberation War massacred defenseless people in the most brutal manner and they saw evidences exposing the brutality of the U.S. imperialists.
Then they went round the former air-raid shelter of the Sinchon County Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the powder storehouse in Wonam-ri and observed a moment's silence after laying bouquets before the tombs of patriots, 400 mothers and 102 children.
Abdullah Hamidi Benam, military attache of the Iranian embassy who is doyen of the corps, wrote in the visitors' book that the visit to the museum gave them a good knowledge of the crimes committed by the U.S. imperialists in Korea and Sinchon is a land of history throwing a glaring light on the crimes of the U.S. imperialists who are loud-mouthed about "defense of human rights".
The evidences of the museum exposing the brutalities of the U.S. imperialists should be well preserved to be shown to the world people, he wrote, and added: We wish the Korean people and the People's Army who are firmly united around Kim Jong Il, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, great achievements in their struggle.

Russian Dance Company Gives Performance

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The visiting State Academic Moiseyev Folk Dance Company of Russia gave a performance at the Mansudae Art Theatre on July 1. The folk dance company comprising at least ten famous people's and merited actors and actresses proved its worth as an art organization with a long history and tradition through a high level of representation.
The company put on the stage Russian dances such as "Summer," "Guerrillas," "Seamen's dance of Yablochko" and other colorful numbers.
It successfully presented a Korean dance to the delight of the audience.
Its artistes impressively represented the peculiar national emotion and traditional lifestyle of Russians and detailed aspects of their life and custom of other nations of the world in their performance.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience.
Among the audience were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, creators and artistes in the field of culture and arts and working people in Pyongyang.
Also among the audience were Manager of the company Elena Scherbakova and Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Andrei Karlov.

U.S. Accused of Bringing War Planes into S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- Ten odd F-117 Stealth fighter bombers of the U.S. Air Force flew into south Korea on June 29 and 30 for "training flight". These bombers will stay at a U.S. Air Force base in south Korea for several months to undergo training to invade the DPRK. Rodong Sinmun Friday views this as an indication that the U.S. scheme to invade and stifle the DPRK is being carried into practice.
    The news analyst goes on:
While putting unjustifiable pressure upon the DPRK under the pretext of the nuclear issue between it and the DPRK caused by it, the U.S. is massively deploying reinforced war equipment of latest types in and around south Korea and staging an unbroken chain of war rehearsals for a war against the DPRK.
On the other hand, it is hastening the transfer and relocation of its troops in south Korea.
It must not go unnoticed that the United States has brought fighter bombers into south Korea for training to invade the north as soon as another round of the six-party talks for settling the nuclear issue between the DPRK and the U.S. ended. It is a robber-like act as preposterous as a thief crying "Stop thief!" for the U.S. to take issue with the DPRK's self-defensive military deterrent force while continuously introducing military hardware into south Korea and playing with fire.
The DPRK is prepared to cope with any ultra-modern weapons.

Kim Jong Suk, editor-in-chief of Minju Joson, in her speech said that the exploit the President performed by giving a successful solution to the issue of succession to the cause of the revolution is shining more brilliantly thanks to the undisputed greatness of leader Kim Jong Il who is identical to Kim Il Sung in ideology, leadership and traits.
An Kyong Ho, director of the Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, in his paper said that Kim Il Sung started and led the cause of national reunification and what is most important in his revolutionary exploits is that he constantly maintained the line of "One Korea" and the line of reunification by pursuing patriotic politics, kept the reunification line superior to the line of division and rallied all the Koreans under the banner of the great national unity through the patriotic politics.
