The poem derides the fellows who, afraid of retaliation, support robbery, rape and murder committed by the strong.
It pours ridicule on the heads of the fellows who cry aloud as if servility is reason and etiquette and blindly follow the U.S. without slightest love for their younger generation.
It also scuffs at them who, out of love for the U.S., even commit suicidal bomb terrorism against Iraqi children.

Sports and Cultural Festival Closes

Jeju, October 26 (KCNA Correspondent) -- The Sports and Cultural Festival for National Reunification and Peace which opened on Jeju Island, drawing attention of all the Koreans, closed on October 26. Decision on Additional Troop Dispatch to Iraq Denounced in S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The decision of the south Korean authorities on additional troop dispatch to Iraq has touched off an angry barrage of condemnation from the south Korean public. Students of law colleges of Korea University and Hanyang University staged a protest around Chongwadae as part of "relay actions to thwart troop dispatch organized by the Joint Measure Committee of Students for Checking Troop Dispatch to Iraq and Achieving Peace on the Korean Peninsula. An article sent by them to the "government" branded its decision on troop dispatch siding with an aggression army unlawfully occupying other country as an act of violating the constitution.
Jang Chang Jun, permanent researcher of the south Korean Institute of Civil Rights, published an article titled "The Reason Why Troops Must Not Be Dispatched to Iraqi War," which said:
The invasion of Iraq was a lawless invasion of a sovereign state. It is utterly unreasonable to side with such an unjust war.
Furthermore, it is shocking to drive out our young people as bullet-shields for the U.S. troops. Not a people want young people to shed blood in a war of aggression without justification.
A spokesman for the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration issued a statement titled "Stop Siding with a Shameful War," which said: It is a gross mistake, if the "government" authorities expect that the United States would peacefully settle the issue of the Korean peninsula in return for the dispatch of troops to Iraq. They should give away such hope and find a way out for the nation through national cooperation.
Meanwhile, the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions published a statement and the Regional Permanent Committee of the East Seoul Federation of University Student Councils an appeal for struggle against the authorities' additional troop dispatch to Iraq.

Implementation of Joint Declaration Called for

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- It is the firm will of the Koreans to check all challenges and obstacles of foreign forces and anti-reunification forces by the concerted efforts of the nation and invariably maintain and implement the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration to bring earlier independent reunification, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article. It goes on:
The joint declaration adopted at the historic Pyongyang meeting, the first of its kind in the over half a century-long history of national division, is a declaration of national independence and reunification which clarified the unanimous desire and will of the fellow countrymen to achieve independent reunification by the concerted efforts of the nation.
The declaration ushered in a new era of national independence and reunification, the era of "By our nation itself," in which the people in the north and south are heading for independent reunification, getting reconciled and cooperating with each other as one nation for the first time after the country's division.
For the Koreans to firmly join hands with each other and implement the joint declaration paves the way for independent reunification and this leads to the reunification of the country and prosperity of our nation.
For our nation a struggle against war and the U.S. is a vital one for national dignity and well-being and peace and reunification of the country.
Koreans can do anything when they join efforts.
They should firmly unite and intensify the struggle to decisively foil the U.S. imperialists' moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK and provoke a nuclear war and check the machinations of the anti-reunification forces.
Many difficulties and obstacles still lie in the way of the cause of national independence and reunification. But the Korean nation is optimistic about the prospect of independent reunification.
