All Koreans Called Upon to Ostracize GNP

e082401 - All Koreans Called Upon to Ostracize GNP     Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland in Information Bulletin No. 845 issued on August 23 lashed out at the Grand National Party of south Korea for working hard to deteriorate the situation and totally block national reconciliation and unity, far from feeling responsible for what it did on August 15 to seriously affect the development of the inter-Korean relations. Riff-raffs of the GNP are now hurling malignant abuses on the authorities, claiming that it was "wrong" for them to have apologized to the north for the anti-north rowdyism perpetrated by ultra-right conservative forces on the August 15 liberation day, the bulletin noted, and continued:
The August 15 incident was a wicked political provocation as it triggered off unbearable resentment among our people and the servicemen of the People's Army and a rash action against the nation and reunification as it was intended to ditch the June 15 joint declaration and bedevil the inter-Korean relations.
The reality goes to prove that unless the moves of the GNP and other ultra-right conservative forces are decisively frustrated, they will hamstring the process of national reconciliation and unity and seriously affect the movement for the peace and reunification of the country.
It called upon the people from all walks of life in south Korea to come out in a struggle for completely ostracizing the group of traitors.

Yehia Zakariya Khairallah, chairman of the committee, in a speech said that President Kim Il Sung was the most distinguished political elder and benevolent father of the people, who fathered the Juche idea, built a genuine people's power in Korea and pursued a policy for the people all his life.
Noting that while staying in the DPRK he saw for himself the Korean people fully enjoying a happy life, singleheartedly united around the Party and the leader, he stressed that Kim Jong Il who is steadfastly carrying forward the President's revolutionary cause is the sun of the 21st century, the most outstanding thinker and theoretician and the people's father as he has further strengthened the people's power with his unique Songun revolutionary leadership.
He expressed belief that under his Songun leadership the Korean people would certainly build a great prosperous and powerful nation and reunify the country in the near future.

Koreans Called upon to Achieve Great National Unity

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- All Koreans should turn out as one in the struggle to foil the U.S. imperialists' moves for a war and thus protect the peace and security of the country and the sovereignty and the vital rights of the nation, says Rodong Sinmun today in a signed article. It is high time that all the Koreans in the north, south and abroad achieved great unity and turned out in a vigorous struggle to foil the U.S. arrogant moves now that the danger of a war is increasing on the Korean peninsula as the days go by due to their arrogant moves, the article says, and goes on:
The Koreans in the north, south and abroad should closely unite as one to resolutely foil the U.S. imperialists' moves for a war.
The Koreans should neither hesitate nor waver in the way of achieving the national unity because of differing ideologies, systems, political views, religious beliefs, classes and strata.
All the Koreans should face up to the reality today when the destiny of the nation is exposed to a grave threat due to the U.S. imperialist warhawks' moves to provoke a war and turn out as one for national unity to cope with it.
Flunkeyism and the idea of depending on outsiders should be rejected and a positive struggle should be waged against the traitors to the nation so as to protect the peace of the country and the security of the nation from the U.S. imperialists' war moves.
The Koreans in the north, south and abroad should have the transparent stand for national independence that the nation alone can solve the issue of achieving the peace of the country and the security of the nation and resolutely reject such flunkeyist idea of relying on outside forces as leaving the nation's destiny to their tender mercy or begging them to shape it.
The Korean nation should further strengthen solidarity and cooperation in the struggle to foil the U.S. imperialists' criminal moves for aggression.
The Koreans in the north, south and abroad should protect peace and security of the country with the might of great national unity to meet the requirements of the prevailing situation and escalate the movement for national reunification.

Anti-DPRK War Moves of U.S. and S. Korea Flailed

Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland made public information bulletin No. 844 on August 22, vehemently condemning the U.S. and south Korea for resorting to war moves against the DPRK behind the smoke-screen of dialogue. According to the information bulletin, the U.S. hawks are seeking dangerous military movements by saying that both south Korea and the U.S. should provide against the second war on the Korean peninsula including military attacks though the opening of the six-way talks was agreed upon. They, together with the south Korean army, are launching the dangerous Ulji Focus Lens joint military exercise throughout south Korea from August 18 to 29.
The U.S. is still persisting in all sorts of war provocation moves against the DPRK, which clearly shows that their clamors for "assurance of peace" or "talks" are a sheer lie and that through the six-way talks they are seeking to disarm the DPRK completely and, in case it is impossible, to control it by force of arms, the information bulletin stressed, and added: If the U.S. takes the road of war against the north behind the curtain of dialogue, not withdrawing its hostile policy towards the DPRK, we will never give up nuclear deterrent force and settle accounts with the aggressors.
The U.S. should not commit a rash act, seeing the will of our army and people to annihilate the enemies. The south Korean authorities, too, should not dance to the tune of the U.S. war to hamstring the nation but come out to national cooperation for removing the danger of a war and defending peace.

The U.S. and Australian governments are telling a lie about the DPRK just as they lied about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, it noted, and continued:

Rodong Sinmun on Illegal U.S. Military Presence in S. Korea

Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialist aggressor troops' occupation was illegal and brigandish as it had no justification in view of international law, says Rodong Sinmun in an article today. The Cairo talks in November 1943 stipulated that Korea should be a sovereign and independent country and the Moscow meeting of foreign ministers of three countries in December 1945 adopted as an international convention a decision that called for eliminating the 38th parallel and establishing a democratic sovereign and independent state in Korea, but the United States nullified the decision and occupied south Korea on September 8, 1945, in pursuance of its criminal policy of domination over Korea, the article says, and goes on:
The continued U.S. military presence in south Korea is a wanton violation of the Korean Armistice Agreement.
Paragraph 60 of Article IV of the AA stipulates that within three (3) months after the Armistice Agreement is signed and becomes effective, a political conference of a higher level of both sides be held by representatives appointed respectively to settle through negotiation the questions of the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Korea, etc. The U.S. imperialists laid an artificial stumbling block in the way of the negotiation to be held in accordance with the article to foil it on purpose, though.
The AA remains dead as a dodo on the Korean peninsula.
The U.S. keeps its military presence in south Korea in utter disregard of a resolution of the UN General Assembly.
All the facts clearly prove that Yanks are the aggressors who are desperately keeping the Koreans from independently reunifying the country and posing a grave threat to peace and security in the peninsula, Asia and the rest of the world and a group of devils defying the UN Charter, international law and world public opinion.
The U.S. should be mindful that its unabated efforts to aggravate the situation in the peninsula will lead itself to helpless self-destruction and act with discretion and pull its aggression forces out of south Korea at once.
