Bush's war outcries under fire

Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- U.S. President Bush in a speech made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Feb. 11 said that "He is not going to allow regimes such as Iran, Iraq and North Korea to threaten our way of life." He let loose such war outcries again utterly indifferent to the international furore over his remarks about the "axis of evil", thus disclosing the aggressive nature of the "world's only super- power."
His outbursts are an outright challenge to the worried international community as they reveal his invariable ambition to designate the "axis of evil characterization" as the core of foreign policy of the United States for aggression despite domestic and international protest and denunciation.
By peddling this assertion the U.S. seeks to draw various countries into an "anti-terrorism alliance" and carry out its "anti-terrorism" strategy in a bid to put those countries disobedient to it under its control.
The U.S. is persistently pursuing a hard-line policy toward the DPRK after singling It out as the next target of its "anti-terrorism war."
Its war hysteria is rendering the situation on the Korean peninsula extremely tense and a dangerous situation is prevailing there, something to be seen only on the eve of war.
It is something unprecedented for the U.S. President to directly mention the DPRK and let loose a whole string of outcries threatening it with aggression. This is arousing a maximum degree of vigilance of the DPRK.
The U.S. is well advised to stop acting rashly, mindful that the Korean peninsula is not Afghanistan.

Bush's remarks under fire

Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- Vishwanath, director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, issued a statement on Feb. 7 denouncing Bush's "state of the union address." It said:
U.S. President Bush in his "state of the union address" undisguisedly revealed his dangerous attempt to stifle those countries, which do not tickle the fancy of the U.S., by force of arms, by groundlessly linking them with terrorism.
The DPRK loves peace, but is getting fully ready to counter any possible provocation of the enemy through the efforts of all the people united close around leader Kim Jong Il.
