Invariable anti-U.S.slogan

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- "Annihilate U.S. imperialist aggressors, the sworn enemies of the Korean people " this is an invariable anti-U.S. slogan which can be seen on any combat equipment of the Korean People's Army. The slogan, which is engraved on warships, tanks, planes, all weapons and rolling stock, barracks, trenches and all other places where the army is standing, reflects the revolutionary will of the KPA to thoroughly and mercilessly annihilate the U.S. imperialists and its conviction of certain victory. It is the steadfast faith and will of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il, iron-willed commander, to make us resolutely hold up the slogan till the day when we will wipe out the U.S. imperialist aggressors and reunify the country. One day in march Juche 81 (1992), he interpreted the slogan written on weapons and combat equipment to be displayed at the military parade for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the heroic KPA. He stressed that as the combat aim of the People's Army is to annihilate the U.S. imperialist aggressors and achieve the cause of national reunification, the army should always invariably hold up this slogan. The KPA soldiers, inspired by Kim Jong Il's thorough and resolute will, are levelling guns of revenge at the enemies, with burning hatred. The slogan full of the fighting spirit to annihilate the enemies was shouted loudly like a flaming volcano at meetings held across the country to support the statement issued by a spokesman for the KPA general staff to provide against the reckless new war provocation moves of the U.S. imperialists.

Kim Jong Il's mode of counteraction supported

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Sazhi Umalatova, chairperson of the Central Council of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, expressed full support for the statement of the spokesman for the KPA general staff when she met with the Korean ambassador to Russia on December 9. Saying that the U.S. is not well aware of the might and revolutionary will of the KPA that has Marshal Kim Jong Il as Supreme Commander, she noted that if the U.S. thinks Korea will yield to its brigandish demand and threat, it is a very foolish judgement. Kim Jong Il's mode of counteraction to answer fire with fire is the only and correct counteraction mode to fight against the aggressors, she stressed. She said that the world progressive forces should strengthen a joint action against the U.S., the international gendarmerie.

Rodong Sinmun on war provocation moves of S.Korean hawks

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The South Korean hawks at a "meeting of major commanding officers of the army" issued "four-point commanding directives" called a "goal of command." Rodong Sinmun today describes them as a premeditated and adventurous provocation of the South Korean authorities to do harm to the fellow countrymen. The news analyst says: It must not go unnoticed that in the wake of the opening to the public of the "operation plan 5027" of the U.S. imperialists the puppets are playing a role as a shock brigade and advance detachment in carrying it into practice. The South Korean authorities stage provocative military manoeuvres in the sky above South Korea day and night for a surprise attack on the north together with the U.S. imperialists. The "operation plan 5027" is chiefly aimed at "conquering" the whole area of North Korea as soon as possible through extra-large high-intensity air and ground warfare and achieving "unification under liberal Democratic system." From this point of view, it is obvious that the manoeuvres involving nearly 1,000 warplanes aim to carry out high-intensity air and ground warfare in accordance with the "operation plan 5027." The train of war against the north has already been lighted. The outbreak of war is a matter of time. If the puppets together with the U.S. imperialists dare unleash a war, they will certainly meet a miserable fate of forlorn wandering spirits in the face of barrage of one thousandfold revenge by the People's Army and people.

Japan, sworn enemy of Korea

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Recently Japan disclosed its attempt to take the lead in carrying out the "operation plan 5027" of the United States, dancing to the tune of the U.S. demand for an inspection of a "secret underground nuclear facility" in the DPRK. The world has already recognized the DPRK's first artificial satellite "Kwangmyongsong No. 1" but only Japan has insisted on the "ballistic missile launch" and is now intending to realize its ambition to stage a comeback to Korea with the backing of the United States. Japan is the sworn enemy of Korea. Crying for the socalled "theory on conquering Korea" more than 100 years ago, Japan tried to occupy the whole of Korea and make it a colony. The Japanese militarists made full preparations for a war according to the belligerent "theory on conquering Korea", created the "Unyo-Maru" incident in 1875 and invaded Korea in real earnest. Japan illegally occupied Korea in 1905 and inflicted immeasurable misfortunes, disasters and sufferings upon the Korean people during its 40-odd-year colonial rule. After its defeat in august Juche 34 (1945), Japan has begun to revive militarism and gain a foothold for staging a comeback to Korea at the instigation of the United States. It gave spurs to the production of ammunitions for the U.S. preparations for a war of aggression on Korea. During the war (June 1950-July 1953) it left its territory to the mercy of the United States as logistic, sortie and action bases, hurled huge armed forces and equipment into the war and acted as a guide and a shock brigade in many operations. Over more than 40 years after the war it has not abandoned its ambition for aggression on Korea but resorted to the heinous anti-DPRK campaign, tailing behind the United States. If Japan recklessly joins in the U.S. second war of aggression on Korea, the Korean people will take this opportunity to wreak grudge of more than 100 years upon it.

S. Korean "government's" misrule rejected

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The headquarters of the South Korean National Movement for Employment and Reform of Big Businesses held a press conference on Dec. 10, at which it said it will go on a protest struggle against the misrule of the present "government", a Seoul-based radio reported. The headquarters set forth the immediate five-point demand, clarifying its stand to fight for the people's vital rights including stop to layoff and employment stability. Announced at the press conference were a joint statement demanding that the authorities abolish the fascist "National Security Law" at once and dismiss the "Minister of Justice" and a plan for struggle to be held in Seoul, Pusan and eight other cities of South Korea from Dec. 12, the report said.

U.S. moves for war against DPRK denounced

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- 20 political parties and organisations of Madagascar including the party of the Congress for the Independence of Madagascar and the Madagascar-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee made public a joint statement on Dec. 9 in support of the statement of the spokesman for the Korean People's Army general staff. The joint statement said that the U.S. and its followers are more frantically trying to stifle the DPRK with the "policy of strength" after the failure of "their appeasement strategy" towards the DPRK. It bitterly denounced the U.S. aggressive moves to unleash a war against the DPRK, saying that they are a serious challenge to and wanton violation of justice and peace, the common cause of humankind. It expressed full support for the brave struggle of the Korean people for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country. The statement strongly demanded the U.S. give up its anachronistic hostile policy towards the DPRK, stop the new war provocation moves and immediately withdraw its troops from South Korea.

Rodong Sinmun on "operation plan 5027"

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun today points out that the aggressive "operation plan 5027" of the U.S. imperialists is a suicidal plan. The author of the article says: "Operation plan 5027" is an idiosyncratic plan designed by warmongers who do not see the fundamental factor that decides the victory of a war. The victory of a war depends on the fighting spirit of soldiers. What is the mental state of the U.S. imperialist aggression troops like? In a nutshell, they are just like sticks although they have rifles in their hands. They do not have any active war psychology but the passive one and, accordingly, move by force. They dislike war because they are afraid of death. They will make no result in a war although millions of them are hurled into war. The same is the case with the South Korean army whom the U.S. imperialists are going to use as bullet-shields. The soldiers are cowards who are forced to serve in the army. "Operation plan 5027" is a war document which was worked out with great hope placed on these cowards. Each of soldiers and people of the DPRK is prepared to match a thousand enemies and has the spirit of human bombs. If the U.S. imperialists ignite the train of war of aggression against the DPRK in order to put into practice the plan, the army and people of the DPRK will annihilate them and defend the peace of humankind and socialism.

Provocative remarks of warmongers = KCNA commentary =

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The United States is getting more frantic with its anti-DPRK confrontation racket, spreading rumours about the DPRK's possible launch of missiles. Spokesmen of the U.S. Departments of State and Defense said that the DPRK might launch missiles again, creating "threats to regional situation," and that the United States would closely consult with Japan and South Korea in order to block the launch. In a nutshell, their remarks are nothing but a shriek of those who are fearful of the DPRK's powerful military capabilities. After the DPRK launched an artificial satellite in August, the United States, while recognising this fact, made a hue and cry about "threats," saying that it might be a ballistic missile. The recently-spread rumour about the DPRK's possible missile launch is one more plot invented by the United States to attain its sinister political purpose. Whenever the U.S. attempted to intensify its military pressure upon the DPRK, it has trumped up lies to hurt the DPRK. This is the U.S. trite method. In order to break the DPRK-U.S. agreed framework and unleash a war against the DPRK, the U.S. raised "nuclear suspicion" over an underground facility in the DPRK, thus pushing the situation of the Korean peninsula to the extreme pitch of strain. Not content with the racket, it invented another fiction of possible missile launch. Its behaviour eloquently shows how much the United States is embarrassed by the DPRK's self-defensive military power capable of eliminating the source of aggression and war on this earth. The U.S. had better act with discretion, clearly aware of the DPRK's powerful military strength fully equipped with both offensive and defensive means.
