Day of Independence of Zambia marked

Meetings abroad to congratulate Kim Jong Il's election as WPK General Secretary

Hamilton Green, leader of the Good Green Guyana, noted that Kim Jong Il's election as General Secretary of the WPK is a great joy. Japanese right-wing gangster's heinous hostility

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- 130 gangsters of 10 odd right-wing organisations including the "National Youth Union of Japan" recently gathered at the Yasukuni Shrine before going to the front of the Central Korean Hall of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) by dozens of loudspeaker cars and committing rash acts. Institution of Juche Era and the Day of Sun supported

The interests and democratic rights of the developing countries should be entirely secured in reforming the security council. Scientific achievements

The central quality and measuring institute manufactured scores of modern measuring instruments needed for education. The Hamhung branch of the National Academy of Sciences produced a new catalyst capable of increasing fertilizer production. The industrial microbiological institute of the National Academy of Sciences, too, produced various kinds of immunity control polysaccharide, which are greatly conducive to the promotion of the people's health.
